can someone explain skyrim skeleton bone structure ??

Also does anyone know if the skeleton.nif and skeleton_female.nif are the same as in they both contain the same bone names or are they fully distinct. like in missing 1 part that other don't have ??

 

Oblivion and fallout seem to use 1 skeleton.nif and so it makes it easier to build a rig for it. but skyrim makes it more irritated. Witch makes building it more difficult since you can never import 2 different skeleton.nif in blend file.

Skyrim females have breast bones and maybe some pussy bones depending on what skelly your looking at.

 

Males have some other bones as well.

 

All this stuff also depends on what mods your using to change the skeletons (XPMS, skulltyrant's, etc...)

 

Easiest way to tell is to just open both of them up in Nifskope and take a look at the bone nodes
