skse -> fose - http://fose.silverlock.org/

skyui -> there's nothing which does all the things skyui does. You can change your ui (there are many, I like this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/47/?), but it wouldn't grant other things like configuring mods (like MCM on new vegas)

facelight -> unfortunately I've never seen something like that for Fallout 3. There's a ... flashlight but it's not really the same ;)http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/15003/? anyway it's useful for dark places...

DC Delight is probably the best overall character enhancement mod for female characters, Breeze's FO3 Males it is probably about the best for males bodies. For Anime looking characters Shojo Race is definitely the best, but it can be quite a bit of work to install and get all the required mods for it working well. I would suggest looking closely at Fallout Mod Manager, Prideslayer has been doing some heavy lifting work to revamp that program and it seems to be making some good progress. Once you get familiar with the overall structure of the files and folders for Fallout 3 and where everything goes, you might want to try a more ambitious set of mods from BenZen and Nino, EZ Companion and EZ Companion Type N, CWDolls and CWClothes by CWJohnny. These are quite difficult to get right sometimes and may even require some work in the GECK to do so. Anytime you are desiring to use a mod which may have been made in a different language GECK, you will have to do some work in the version of GECK you have to set things right. Let me know if I can help you further, I have been modding and working in Fallout 3 since nearly day one of release.

Shojo Race can be difficult to install because of it's requirements, Lings, Children of The Wasteland, etc. Lings kind of disappeared for a while, but I think it's back up over on the Nexus now. The bodies used by most of our overseas Far Eastern Brothers and Sisters is Dimon99's HD Base body, so that part is pretty easy to setup and do. Kendo2 has made a monumental revision to those bodies but there are some issues with the clothes that Shojo Race uses when using his work, clipping through and such. There was also a mod at one time that changed the Shojo Bodies to a child body using the "Cute" body work, but I was never a fan of how that come out, just did not seem right for proportions. I could run you through the overall setup process for Shojo Race, but I would have to use another browser, The Lab here seems to hate IE 11 and will not allow it to copy and paste. I would have to use Firefox so I could copy and paste all the various links and steps in. Generally speaking try to do it this way.

1) Dimon99 HD Base Body

2)Children of the Wasteland

3) Lings Coiffure

4) Lings Finer Things

5)Shojo Race

6)AEV (Armor Escaping Venture (Adds in some cool armor, cloths and weapons for Shojo Race)

I hope that helps you get going with it. Let me know if I can help further.

You sure you installed the body replacer in the right folder? And do you have Archive Invalidation Invalidated enabled or installed?

I highly do not recommend NMM for Fallout 3. You should use FOMM or Mod Organizer. Though, I have not used MO for Fallout. Only when I had Skyrim installed.

Once you get used to Fallout Mod Manager and how it connects to all the different tools, like FO3Edit, BOSS and TESsnip, you will wonder how you ever got anything done before. Allot of great mods were made with an extension on the file of *.fomod, these can be installed with little hassle at all, just double click on them and FOMM takes care of the rest. Dimon99's bodies for one has a nice FOMOD setup, real easy and with all the options made simple to select and see.

Mod Managers are all really great tools, but without an understanding of where things are installed and why, you will have trouble isolating an install problem, just like what you are currently facing. I got hammered in another thread topic here for stating this, but I don't care, I will say it again because it works better, especially in finicky ass Skyrim. Learn to install small simple mods manually. Yep that means copy their folders like "Textures", "Meshes" and any *esp or *esm file directly. Some mods will not come packed to be installed any other way and until you are familiar with this, it will do little good to try and install them with a Mod Manager of any kind. Once you get the file structure down, then you can begin to "unpack" each mod into a separate folder, use FOMM to package the files for install and life will be easier. I made a real simple mod just for folks new to Fallout 3, it helps to get folks used to the file structure and what certain files do, it's just a single *esp file, so all you do is copy it into the "Data" folder and put a check mark in it's box when starting Fallout 3, it does not require anything special, it uses a standard Vanilla Fallout 3 game.
