I was doing my usual rutine of going way overboard with mods again, and had this freeze in skyrim where i had to ctrl+alt+delete to get to windows. After I do my computer starts acting up and want to run all applications I start in administrator mode. "Fine whatever, I'll just reset my comp and fix it", after I do my keyboard just sorta died... No power, no malfunction driver error, just dead. Anybody experienced anything simmilar or did I just have extremly bad luck? It absolutely makes no sense, the keyboard is like 7 months old max. Rayblue Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 More likely that if you're using a USB keyboard, it may have short-circuited (I've seen low-quality USB speakers which over time killed themselves because of the overload) instead of being killed by the game. Or simply a wire cut itself inside the keyboard.

I once had a problem where the keyboard would constantly shut down, because windows did not detect activity and switched on power-save on that USB port. Then again I once had similar problems where keys would act sticky. It was time to get a new keyboard.
