Unfortunately for everyone looking for this the author(radioragae) wrote this in the comments

 

"many people ask to me about hair.

Definitely, If I upload hair of screenshot, you will not see me again.

Also, it share only my club member.

You cant find it anywhere.

#2 hair from face mod that Japanese made.

It name maybe suzumiya haruhi....Not sure. I forgot it.

#1, #3 ren's hair of Oblivion. One of club member port hair. I retexutre it partly."

 

 

Seeing as he is Korean I am pretty sure he is refering to naver by "club", so perhaps someone with access there can find it.

After spending 5+ years in this community I'm still baffled by the whole "it's private you can't have" thing. I understand if you have a private work and you don't want to share it, that is your prerogative, obviously. But to post screen shots on a website designated for sharing modifications it's just silly.

 

I don't even want the hair, but this attitude just ruffles my jimmies. Good thing we have communities like this that don't take no for an answer and sniff said mod out.

I totally agree with you. I constantly see shit that people post pics of but wont share. I just dont get it. If your mod is so private that you dont want to share it then keep the damn pics of it to yourself too. People get off on being a cock-tease. Lame!

Did anyone notice what the Nexus has pulled now? I was trying to point someone towards the hairs thread and the Terra thread here in a PM and now www.loverslab.com appears as *site not allowed*.

What cracks me up, is if you browse the mods on the Steam Workshop, there's all kinds of shit on there that is obviously infringing on other games' IPs. LoTRo stuff, Assassin's Creed stuff, Witcher stuff all kinds of shit that obviously doesn't belong to Bethesda. And much of which you can get right off Nexus.

 

I hate assholes with a passion. But I hate hypocritical assholes with a fury.

 

Just a minor correction, CD Projekt RED allows their resources/stuff to be used as mods and not for profit.

 

Another is that the AC stuff is taken down (along with anything from Ubi, EA, etc.), but it does take a considerable amount of time before they do (my reason for doing so is to protect the IP of the rippers [they tend to get it from VGUNetwork]).

 

Not sure about the LotR stuff though.

 

I'm not defending them, I'm just stating some facts.

I agree but the modder should not have carelessly flaunted the private mod in front of people's faces. If its a private mod, best keep it private. It just makes people bitter. :(

Well just my 2 cents, but I think you're wrong about that. Well maybe you're right in some cases but the general rule is not really about IPs but more about if it's ripped or not.

 

When something is just taken out of another game and put directly in Skyrim, the work doesn't belong to the modder hence the ban etc. But if this guy just used the original as a reference but did the actual model and textures, the nexus will not remove them. That's also why the nexus blocked this site.

 

As for modders sharing stuff, well I have to agree some of them seems to be quite selfish, not because they don't want to share, but because the actually use other mods too. If they wanted to keep to themselves well why not, but when you get your hand on a so called private mod and realise that part of the model is actually from someone else's work on the Nexus, you can't help but wonder.

 

Also sometimes, modders want to keep things private because they use ripped content, and that being illegal they don't want to share with the community to avoid getting into trouble (cowards :P).

 

tl;dr : avoid hasty judgement when you don't know what you're talking about.

The LoTR swords are exact duplicates of the same two swords in the films, as well as the game. Narsil, Anduril, Herugrim, Glamdring, etc., all protected property.

 

Directly ripped or not, those images are the exclusive intellectual property of New Line Cinema and licensed to Turbine for use in their game. Whether the mod creator made the meshes/textures from scratch or not, makes no difference.

 

So yeah, thats definitely cherry picking. Whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

 

Aaaaanyway.... enough about the asshats that run that hole. I'll hang here as always, and just continue using Nexus as my image and savefile dump.

it look like head darker than body part.

I had the same issue when I tried that face mod.

 

I didn't much care for it anyway' date=' and went back to Bella's.

 

I had to ask myself, why would I want to replace this face?:
