Hentai-chan Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 I want to ask players of FO3 how they like Gob. Personally, I like to get on his bad side. I don't know if it's just me being an asshole or if it makes Gob a better NPC, I just like it that way. These are my thoughts in a nutshell and if luck would have it, I am not beating a dead horse. How do you like Gob? To be his friend or rival (of sorts)?
RitualClarity Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Never paid much attention to him. There is a few lines with him and a couple in Underworld, after that not much else. Now I pretty much ignore him unless my stats are at a level where I can get some info from him (roleplaying as that I already know what he will say anyway. ) otherwise unless I am playing an asshole I pretty much leave him alone.

I never really cared much for Gob. He's a miserable NPC. Though, I always treated him nice. The guy just needs a hug, ya know?

nyaalich Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I was disappointed when I 1) killed Moriarty and Megaton INCLUDING GOB attacked me (Megaton = okay, Gob = WTF?) and 2) he talked about leaving Underworld for adventure, but then he just takes over the bar. Safer and more profitable, but unfulfilling.

Even if there were some comments or a thank you from I think it was Carol from underworld for helping Gob and that he was in contact or something. It always felt as if he was just forgotten. Really a shame as it seems as if the Ghouls in F03 were more fleshed out than those in FNV. Even the NPC's seemed to have some fun conversations.
