Kodiak Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Ok this is sort of related to a previous thread I posted a few days ago, which really didn't get me anywhere. What I'm noticing now is that when I INV an NPC or the PC, I'm seeing that most equipible items are followed by a line; BAD EDITOR ID (followed by a dummy item ID) I can manually removeitem the Bad ID, but they are everywhere and many of them are listed at 00######, meaning its tied to the main Skyrim.esm. I'm just not sure how I can go about correcting this. Its not causing an CTD directly, but I have no idea what side effects it may be causing. As I mentioned above, I have been experiencing strange NPC inventory resets that have never been a problem up to recently. Right now my trouble shooting load list is down to just the official ESMs and High texture ESPs. Everything else is disabled...which worried me. Any ideas to avoid a complete reinstall?
Emberheart Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I suspect it is a load order issue, or lack of cleaning up ESP's. I only delete them when they act like glowing Draugr eyes, which the vanilla game sometimes did.
b3lisario Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I don't think the BAD EDITOR IDs are a problem. They always show up, even with a vanilla game

Emberheart Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Whenever I switch load orders and the prefix numbers change, they pop up too. The remember now the real problem are not the BAD EDITOR id's but rather the nameless id's, often containing only an arrow -->. They can mess up the eyelids, make them glow and so on.
