If someone wants to DL and rehost for the good of the site...it's available.

If you have interest post here or PM me and I will send you the account info.

Dreamer, I could download and then put the stuff back up on megaupload and media fire if that is all you need. I would love to learn how to do this (as I currently know NOTHING about blender) but I am not sure I can put in the required time with my erratic schedule right now. :(

If there is someone who does have the time to do both I gladly withdraw.

Not a problem.

PM me your email information and I will send you the login. (Just an email address and name so you can receive your login information)

This is not just for Blender though, you will have access to the entire Lynda.com training video database...which encompassess thousands of applications.

You're Golden.

Login whenever you're ready.

If you end up with another one of these passes, please, shoot me a line. I've been wanting to get into modding seriously, so I'd love to have access to a heavy, focused resource like this. And I don't have a job at the moment(in the process of tracking something down), so I have a little bit of free time. =)

Sorry, I only had one pass leftover. First come first serve.

If Gregathit chooses to dl and rehost the videos, I'm sure he can help you out.

Never fear all. :)

I had hoped to have the blender series up and available for DL but real life up and said "Hell NO!" Real life has no been pacified and I should have this series finished and hosted somewhere in the next couple of days. I will update with progress in this thread.

The password for each file is: LL

PS. Thank Dreamer102 as he gave me the free pass :)

Best viewed with vlc player. Also the first chapter is pretty crappy quality but since it was just explaining the interface I didn't bother to recode it.

Enjoy.

Many thanks for this. In return I shall post two completely unrelated youtube videos as payment.

Blender is WAAAAAY beyond anything I've ever attempted to do before, so I very much appreciate having these vids on hand.

One tiny fly in the soup.....

The slightly less good news

These excellent tuts are for Blender 2.6.

The last stable release of NifTools is for Blender 2.49.

The interface is different, the underlying python is different and some of the internal hierarchies are different.

The good news

1) A Blender 2.6a version of NifTools is available for testing from this link but not as functional as the 2.49 version yet.

http://niftools.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3172&sid=88b5bc900f4e0b7782907e00eab7f89b

so we'll soon be cooking with gas.

2) Until full functionality is available, it might be possible to use a 2.49 version of blender as a gateway to import the stuff you want to work on. Save it as a .blend. Open that .blend in a 2.6 version and work on it, save it. Re-open it in 2.49 and export.

3) The core information is 90% transferable between different Blender versions (just details mismatch) so with a bit of ingenuity you can find the 2.49 equivalent.

Ok, got a few up and here are the addresses:

NOTE: password for each to open is LL and they are best viewed with vlc player and opened with 7zip. I will update this post as more chapters go up:

All links are now down. Guess password wasn't strong enough. Will try a torrent.

Torrent up...PM me for details.
