So im having a bit of an issue here... i downloaded the normal female were wolf mod and entered the game but the head, arms and legs and tail are missing, and the only mod that i have in my NMM is female were wolfs, but if i turn that off then it just goes back to the normal were wolf mesh model, how do i fix this issue?

That has something to do with your .esp file in that it has not allowed certain body slots to be visible. You'll need to either go into your latest werewolf .esp file and change that so the Biped Object head, tail, arms/hands, and legs/feet are visible, or put the .esp from this main mod last-most from your other werewolf mods.

I would suggest that if you are using a mod organizer/manager, just move the "Werewolves.esp" lower in your Plugin stack--there should be a Load Order indicator telling you what number on the list it is.

 

If you are using the Skyrim game launcher, just click on "Data Files" to access the Plugin stack and click on the "Werewolves.esp", moving the .esp up and down the list with the arrow buttons.

 

If you want to manually make changes to an .esp file, you will need the Creation Kit to do so. Hope this helps!

I'm having some problems with the MoonlightTales and WerewolfMastery models. For some reason they're shiny as fuck. And that only happens on the MoonlightTales models, the normal replacer is fine. I'm not sure if that's because of the models or the textures. If I remove the glow models, and only the LaFemmeLycana models stay, then the werewolves are invisible. So, I don't have any clue why this happens, and I'd love if you could help me out. Thanks in advance

I may have missed a texture somewhere in the package, but the only ones I see that are obviously missing are included in the default pack.

i have a werid bug, im using the moonlight tales verison but as male werewolf it CTD during transformation. females are ok for some reason, wondering if anyone has any insight

 

oh and ppp if you can do a version of them moonlight tales with the HDT werewolf penis or im pretty sure i can do it if new the files to change that is can figure out this crash

I installed the main file textures first, and then the Moonlight Tales edition, but only the MT textures are messed up, default is all good.

 

Oh, and btw, I forgot earlier. The alpha (black) textures are either messed up or completely missing, as the werewolves show up completely white.

Yeah I can't get any of the other texture choices for Moonlight Tales to work other than the Omega LaFemme one. All the others have messed up missing or shiny textures. Actually I don't think I've even got the mod set up right. But then again, with respect to PPP, there's literally no written guidance for how to get this to work, and looking at the way it's packaged really isn't helping me to figure it out.

Do you have the Creation Kit? Can you look at the models in it, and see if you get any errors? I'm not getting the shininess when testing it in my game, except for the Use Default Skin option. Also, double-check to make sure everything went to the right place.

 

If it's this bad, why has it taken so long for anyone to complain? No, really, I mean that honestly. I'd have liked to get the bugs worked out sooner.

 

The intended install process was for the player to choose whether they wanted the 6 breast or 2 breast versions, and open that folder to see the Data folder, which is merged with the Data folder for Skryim. The textures and male meshes don't need to be duplicated, so they went into separate folders to be merged with the proper folders. If I got the file structure right, the Data folder was as deep as the player would need to go to install the whole package. The idea was to reduce file size, since I was bumping right up against the limit. If any of that was unclear, please say so, so I can try to elaborate.

Okay, so. I don't think the problem is in the meshes (don't trust me on this, I know nothing about any of this), as the glow meshes are only for the glowing eye sets. I don't know if it could be in the textures, as the HDT Moonlight Tales (I'm saying all of this with respect, of course) seems to be missing the _n.dds textures, and I have no idea what that means. I thought that was the problem, so I used the original MT textures and renamed them ...Female_n.dds, but no dice. So I'm guessing the esp isn't set to use those textures, or something. 

 

As I said, take all of what I said with doubt in mind, as I myself have no idea what I'm doing or talking about.

 

 

edit: forgot to mention that I opened them up in Creation Kit, but I dunno how to switch the textures. Same thing in NifSkope, no idea how to use them.

I finally saw what was staring me in the face. Take the textures from the default HDT werewolves download and copy them into the Textures\actors\characters\MoonlightTales folder, and tell me if that fixes it. I had them moved there in my installation, and didn't realize that I had done so. I'll probably release a fix.

 

Again, why did it take so long for anybody to report the bug?

 

Edit: This is the corrected 2 breasted version for testing, if anyone wants to download it and report if it works, feel free. If you do test it, make sure you have no extra textures in the appropriate folders, only those directly from the basic HDT Werewolves download and my Moonlight Tales patch.

other my male werewolf crash im still trying to figure out, that fixed the females ppp i did not see any issues with texures after installed the esp fix and moved the texures

Moving the textures should work for the esp that I included with the main download. The test was to see if the new esp would work without moving the textures from where I had them install with my previous upload. I'm fixing the esps (four of them 2MT, 6MT, 2WM, 6WM) and want to make sure it works before doing all of them.

 

I've no idea what's causing your crash with the male werewolves. Can you give more information? Which version did you install? Do you have the right skeleton? Do you have any other werewolf mods active, or have used any in the past?

ok thanks i went and tested that way just moving the texures i check a bunch not getting any werid texures( did this by nuke all files and reinstalling) so not sure what the fixed esp was for, no only werewolf mod i had was the base HDT one then moved your moonlight tales upgraded version, im using xp32 extended skeleton, im going to try reinstalling it there got to be something missing on the male side causing this

Make sure you have the Werewolf Skeleton from the basic HDT Werewolves installed. I'm pretty sure that having a mismatched skeleton can cause CTDs, but that may or may not be your issue.

its not that ( did skeleton reinstall for xp32 extended), but it crashes like mismatched skeleton, but for the life of me i cant figure out way, only other i can think of is a HDT tails (equip dragon and animal tails) and Hdt Collisions + Hair Physics Now With Belly Support (Updated "just Another Hdt .xml File") installed too

The Werewolf has it's own skeleton, you may be thinking of the one for the normal playable races.

and i know its huge list, but skyrim runs great other then werewolf thing, i was in a save about 80hrs in before i started the werewolf stuff

Nothing really jumped out at me as something that would cause a problem, but I'm only pretty good. I'm certainly no wizard, I only play one in Skryim. (Bdm Tsh!) Good luck with your re-install, or whatever you decide to do.

Bingo! That's fixed it for me, I can use all the LaFemme skins now. Thanks PPP.

 

I didn't test the esp before I moved the textures from the original hdt mod so can't say whether that was a necessary step or not, sorry.
