Yes, I know, I've asked this more then once in a lot of topics, but I make another attempt.

So, tell me:

How about making/collecting an additional clothing pack for Fallout (New Vegas), that would be hosted here on LL. Which would contain some clothing me and YOU are missing in the vanilla game, and which could be used as resource/requirement for other mods, especially the sexout mods.

I am not talking about a huge collection, and I am not talking about replacing something in the SCR and it's requirements. But even if you install everything SCR reqires some 'usefull' clothes are still missing.

What clothes am I talking about?

I am talking about some clothing that fit in the 'Post-Nuclear-Fifties' of the Fallout world. But there are none of them in the vanilla package.

For example:

  • First of all - yes - a Schoolgirls Uniform. No manga, no slutty, just a propper fifties school uniform. Maybe some for boys, too. (So you can play FNV as Angus Young ;) )
  • A Cheerleader Dress.
  • A Wedding Dress. Yes, there is an upcomming and most prommising 'relationship-mod' and you can't get a wedding dress (maybe for male, too)
  • A Waitress! Why is there no 'Fifties American Diner Dress' in Fallout?
  • A Nurse. We have scietists and engeneers, but how about a pretty nurse with a cap?
  • For sure it could contain some additional Prostitude-Dresses and Slave-Rags.
  • I am sure, YOU have some suggestions, what is missing in the vanilla wasteland.
  • ...

And I am NOT talking about another armor or 'fancy-look-alike'-dress.

Why do I think, we need something like that?

  • Because I can't create clothings and I would need some for my mods. ;) I even don't think, I ever will learn how to create beautifull clothing, as I already have not enough time to learn how to script the mods I want to make.
  • Because I've read about other clothing requests from other mod-makers. So I don't think it isn't only me, who has this 'need'.
  • The required sources for SCR are huge and you have to download them from different pages. But still there are some clothes, I would like to see.
  • A clothing pack, that is hosted at LL could be made as requirement for many mods without making it to difficult to install for the users.
  • A mod that contains/needs only one or two 'special' dresses could add them to the LL/sexout-clothing-pack. And the mod itsself could be disturbed as simple ESP, without an additional 'data-pack'.
  • Clothes made for ONE mod, could be used for other mods, too. Without requireing the original mod they were made for.
  • The clothings hosted on LL could get there Pregnant-Meshes very easy.
  • There could be some sexy/slutty/torn variations be made.
  • And all of that, without asking for permission by the original creator.
  • They could be added to the 'apperal' formlists in SCR very easy, too.
  • ...

So, what do you think about it?

Not a good idea?

Or are there plain and simple ... no post-nuclear tailors in the whole LL-comunity?

Won't part of the consideration have to be body types?  For males, there are Breeze's and Robert's, but for females, there's T6, T3, N, and others.  I'm not a visual artist at all, so I can't help.  : \

I'm happy to add the assets to SCR if people create esp patches for them and if they aren't T3 rename them to know what bodytype they are.

Permissions is the main issue to packing all the textures & meshes

I don't think that the different body types are a problem. actually I think most people play with a mix of body types even if they do not know. Maybe I am wrong (never figued it out exactly) but ... The original sexout body is T6, if you add all resources for SCR most clothing will be replaced by T3, the naked body suits for pregV3 are T6 again, as the materny clothes are. Usualy I prefer Nessas TN instead of the sexout T6, so I replaced the vanilla clothings with Nessas TN, too. And I have installed Kristinas Closet, which is for T3. So my couriers body changes the whole time depending on what she is wearing or if she is pregnant.

Most clothes replace the whole body so there are neither no clipping issues.

But as we have very skilled body-creators here on LL (Nessa and Kendo2) a LL-clothing-pack could give the posibility to resize it for the differnt bodys, too.

This sounds good and all but like Halstrom said, Permissions is the main issue.

Yes, yes and yes.

This is the main reason why I made this topic.

Not stealing or 'borowing' the work of others.

Some additional 'functional' clothes from LL mod creators for LL mod creators. Or given by others with an entire permission to rework them.

So there are realy no clothing creators on LL?

No?

Sadly this topic will fall into oblivion much to soon :(
