hryh23k9823u Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Is not complicated at all. Just drop everything inside your skyrim folder (the main root, were tesv.exe is / you can actually not drop the /scr folder which are just resource files, but whatever they wont harm) Talking about SKSE, of course! For mods you really should use a good mod manager, Mod Organizer, or at least, Wyre Bash (and avoid Nexus Mod Manager)
gvman3670 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Just unzip SKSE, open a Windows Explorer window with the unzipped file in it, open another Explorer window with your Skryim folder in it (the one with TESV.exe), highligh/right click/copy the SKSE files, then right click and paste in the Skyrim folder. That's it. If you can highlight, copy and paste you can add this. It really is that simple. You'll be fine.
Mister_Monster Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 I didn't do any of that! There is a built in installer, does it all for you. I opened the game, typed "getskseversion" and it verified I had it! Piece of cake!
gvman3670 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I'd still download the archive and keep it on hand. I do that with all mods. I always get the archives and only delete them if I don't like them. If they're good I hang onto them. Good mods get taken down all the time.
hryh23k9823u Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I've heard that installer used to fail at install skse propertly. You really would like just to install it manually i think.

Mister_Monster Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 Ok, now for the girly mods. I also want the mods that make NPCs cute, and dresses NPCs all sexy like this guard... Note that the armor is gone, My inner perv must affect my world.
Sweatington Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Personal Recommandations: UNBP body mod. With this textures http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36425/? and HDT physics extension ofc.

I was leaning towards UNPB as well. Not a bad one imo. Lots of converted armors available for it, basically any texture or armor converted for any UNP/Sevenbase can be used with UNBP, they are the same "family" so to speak.
Mister_Monster Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 What does the Hdt Physics extension do? and there is a number of them. Which one(s)?
Sweatington Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 10-24 is the stable version. Basically it gives real breasts and butt pysichcs instead of animated pyshics.
Rayblue Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 What does the Hdt Physics extension do? and there is a number of them. Which one(s)? HDT gives additional movement to body parts, and can be extended even to clothing, shoes (high heels, for example), and there are attempts at making realistic skirt and cloak movement and so on. But as HDT is a bit advanced (you'll have to study how to install, use and maintain it), for now just give yourself a little more time to use the mods you have.
Mister_Monster Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 Hmmm, for some reason Apachii Hair will not download.
gvman3670 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Won't download? Which version? I have both 1.5 full and 1.3 and both downloaded fine for me (although I generally download manually and "install from archive" with Mod Organizer). Earlier I read someone saying that Nexus was being a bitch today. Maybe that's why? If you're using Nexus Mod Manager you can download manually and choose the "install from file" option.
Mister_Monster Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 I am using Nexus Mod Manager...haven't tried install from file yet. Will that work with sex labs too?
gvman3670 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I think it could work with SexLab mods. I tried that when I first discovered SL and I was having issues. It was suggested to me then to manually install SL mods. But I now install them with Mod Organizer with no issues whatsoever. You do know how to unzip, highlight/right click/copy and then paste into the appropriate folder, right? That's all it takes to manually install install anyway. And if you're adding a bunch of hair, brow, eye and such mods you'll need to go to Nexus and download/install "racemenu pre-cache killer" to keep the chargen menu from freezing or crashing with the load.
Cyndi Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Nmm will work fine with sexlab mods, On your mods tab, click the puzzle piece with a green + sign on it near the top left. Find your file in the new window and open it. Presto, it will add itself to the list of things nmm can install as if you had downloaded with it. You can also just drop the archive into your nmm mods folder, Nmm will know it's there, but that sometimes requires nmm to be restarted for it to find the mod. Path should be something like c / games / nexus mod manager / skyrim / mods / or some such thing by default I think. but It can be hard to get away from once you start using NMM, and it's comparatively crappy. A lot of the users here, speak the world of MO, but I can't say I've tried it. I think I've always used Nmm, but there are times when it seems it would have been more intuitive to just pour gasoline on PC and light it.
Guest GuyWhoAbruptlyDisappeared Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Agree with the above people - play vanilla your first time. Well, nearly vanilla. A body replacer can't hurt.
Mister_Monster Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 Agree with the above people - play vanilla your first time. Well, nearly vanilla. A body replacer can't hurt. Yes, I intend to play vanilla the first time. BUT. I hate the way the gals look. Better Females. New sessy bods. Arousing Armors. Arousing Attire. and I've had a ton of fun surfing thru nexus and seeing the things I can do, My initial vanilla run is going to be pleasing to the eye. Apachii is now activated! Now I need to find that 360 camera angle thing.
hryh23k9823u Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Dont use Nexus Mod Manager. Not even in the nexus people recommends it anymore in general therms. Also STEP guys recommends clearly to use Mod Organizer instead. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/? It allows to download directly from nexus too. It's very simple in it's core features for install uninstall mods just like NMM. But then advanced features are huge if you wanna mod skyrim in the future. You dont want them right now if you're gonna go relativelly vanilla. But for the future. If you get into modding skyirm you're gonna deal with lots of bugs, crashes and with NMM you'll be totally blind, and you'll end nuking skyrim several times for nothing. Also, with MO you can have diferent mods for diferent profiles, so lets say you now have you vanilla profile, you can have other with diferent mods, for testing puproses, without touching your skyrim installation. And the 360º thing, here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34508/? You need to run FNIS, like any other animation mods. ask if any doubt.
Mister_Monster Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 Ahh! Thanks for the 360 thing. I'm a happy guy now.
Mister_Monster Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 Well I made my very first character. Until I learn how to use the 360 camera, I won't be able to appreciate the jiggle. But for a first attempt, she turned out cute. I'm Running her as a straight mage. I'm in Riverwind. Still haven't figured out how to sell things. one step at a time.

You might want to download and install "Enhanced Character Edit" from Nexus. It will give nicer head/face morphs for a more attractive face and more options to adjust head/face/body. I can see that you still have the original character generation interface there. Also, you can tweak the appearance any time you want. Just open the console (press the ~ key), type "showracemenu", press [ENTER], press the ~ key again and you'll be in the character generation interface. Just don't change race or name or you'll lose skills and perks. But you can change anything else you want.
Mister_Monster Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 My game crashed sunday and i just now got it fixed. I had to reload Nexus manager and reload all of my mods. No fun all day Sunday, I have a total of 3 hours ingame, and then...boom. ~~ I think y'all are right about MO. anyhow three newbie questions. 1) I still have no idea how to make the 360 degree camera work. is there a togle button? seriously. Walk me through this. I want to make videos. 2) Y'all will look down your noses upon me, but How do I sell loot? 3) What is a good -free- program that lets me take videos of game footage?
