Zquad1 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Hey there everyone, Firstly I want to apologize if this is in the wrong section, if it is... Moderators please move it to the correct location PLEASE!! Ok I am soooooo freaking tired of messing with gloves I just can't get them properly weighted they end up looking like backwards wolverine claws. I have sooo many outfits I really badly want to release that I have converted to the Demopn Fet body BUT I refuse to release them half done. I have tried soo many methods on my own with little to no success. how do I approch converting gloves & body suits that cover the hands. I have tried adding Hands to the Body mesh but when doing the bone weight copying I have to delete the bone weights for the hands & I lose the proper bone weights because it copies to the body. & the same goes when I try adding gloves to the body mesh in blender without hands & I get the same results every time. PLEASE can anyone help? I am very desperate I have just had enough of this & I want to know how you Blender Modders do it. Again PLEASE...HELP!!!!!
blabba Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 All right, so this probably isn't what your looking for, but for weight rigging, if Blender is getting annoying for you, you can try using other separate tools to do it for you. By far the best and most accurate Bone weight copying tool I've used is gerra6's Mesh Rigger (It says beta, but the core feature of copying bone weights is absolutely perfect) http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24797-mesh-rigger-skyrim-fallout-oblivion-beta25-2-20-2014/ If you'd like a visual indication with some basic weight strength editing capabilities and/or mesh manipulation you can try using Outfit Studio to copy the weights for you as well. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49015/? I unfortunately can't help you with the Blender stuff sorry (I use 3DSMax, but I'm a beginner compared to the other more talented folks here on the forum)
Zquad1 Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 Hey Thanks for the Outfit Studio Slider, I heard about it but I never really looked into it much. Have you used the Slider? & if so could ya give me some tips I tried using it earlier today & I didn't get very far. I am trying to convert armors for the Demon Fet Body my good buddy made & if this program can convert armors much more faster then I'll start using it, but It doesn't seem as easy as people are saying obviously you do need to possess some knowledge on how to use this program & I haven't found any really helpful videos. it says I can convert any Body to any piece of armor, but how do I achieve that with this program.
