ger4 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Could someone please explain what animation baking is to me? Thanks
RitualClarity Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Animation+baking+in+blender First entry, first paragaph, Second part. In some cases, animation data can be directly converted, resulting in a simple reformatting of data, while in others, the process is necessarily destructive, requiring a sample rate, called baking.
D_ManXX2 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Animation baking is when you use rigs in order to create an animation. the way the process works is baking the animation directly into the skeleton and creates a new skeleton armature with the bake content of the animation you created. If you don't do this oblivion will not know how to animate in game. since it will be using skeleton from your rigs witch the original armature is lacking.
