ExecuteCZ Posted Wednesday at 05:38 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:38 PM Great mod indeed. I wanna ask if Mu joint Fix is compatible with this mod ?

zapho Posted Thursday at 05:45 AM Posted Thursday at 05:45 AM Update: persists through save even after you remove it so I got fucked once it started ctding and refuse to load :v there goes all yesterday's worth of game time

It just reads data. The changes that happen are purely in the GPU.  Show your crash logs 1
Edzio Posted Thursday at 09:12 AM Posted Thursday at 09:12 AM Awesome work! The deformation looks great. Now we need a Reliable Amputation Framework Next. 🙂

Might've been after I tried summoning an UBE follower(I think it was after unequipping UBE Samus Follower's armors...), but doesn't explain why it started crashing mid-load in any of the saves where the mod was present ever after... but I'm fine with it now. Do excuse if I seemed cranky after that whole thing though, but I'm good for it now. Here's some data for you anyway though. crash-2026-10-14-23-13-35.log PS. I think it was between upgrading from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 as well- but I've trying redowngrading and recaching my shaders both times anyway to no avail until uninstall and rollbacking saves. I spent half a year on this, and after many experiments and trials, I found a solution and made anatomical adjustments to the skeleton. Now, combined with a proper mesh and the new skeleton, bends and other bone poses work much more accurately—at the elbows, shoulders, back, hips, pelvis, and knees. Animations also run smoothly without any issues. The screenshots show examples: a body with the standard COCO CBBE mesh and the skeleton I corrected. I don’t use any scripts for bending. can u tell me what lightning mod is that? it looks really good

Crash is caused by BetterDeformation reading corrupted memory. 1.0.3 has a workaround for that. If it still crashes on 1.0.3, provide a fresh crashlog.  So far I've noticed all three of you guys have OverlayFix.dll too.  If it's actually corrupting your game save, that largely points to a mod like OverlayFix.dll. Like I said, BetterDeformation is only reading the data. The true reason you're crashing is because: R8 0x3DD9C000C0000EEB (size_t) [4456804415713578731]  This pointer is dangling, but still held by the geometry.  So the crash I can't seem to reproduce is either from this mod reading the memory too early, or another mod is introducing a race. Hopefully we get some more people with a similar crash to help track down the issue.Â
minguskingus Posted Thursday at 07:36 PM Posted Thursday at 07:36 PM For anyone who, like me, has never regenerated the shader cache before, please know that it is an automatic process. Community shaders will recache everything on startup, and if you're, like me, running a really-heavily modded Skyrim, that process can take as long as 20 minutes. The mod works like a charm once I finished regenerating my cache, but is subtler than I realized, at least out of the box. Thanks for making and sharing it!
milklover123 Posted Friday at 06:00 AM Posted Friday at 06:00 AM If you feel the effect is too subtle, open BetterDeformation.json and find "NPC Pelvis [Pelv]":0.15, crank it up to 1. Enjoy that delicious ass.... damn this mod is impressive

Compiling Shaders is all about cores. In fact, most of the Skyrim Tools like DynDOLOD, PG_Patcher, xLODGen, BENDr or SnowFixer to name a few are all about CPU cores. What takes you 20 minutes takes 2 minutes on a 3,200 mod set up, 4K, PBR, UBE, Bottled Shaders.
