Blast my kind Heart!

So, according to my account. I am about 85% complete with achievements in Skyrim. Most of the remaining are Dragonborn related, housing land purchases, building, discovery and marriage.

However, one is Oblivion Walker. Which I set out to complete last night only there isn't any way to track how many Daedric artifacts I have obtained. So doing a few quests, I was sure I had obtained at least one of every option from the quests, except Waking Nightmare where I didn't kill the poor Dark Elf Monk and chose to destroy the staff I guess.

Also, I am pretty sure I have done the drinking quest, as I do remember it but I do not have possession of Sanquine Rose anymore.

My question is, if I were to roll another character and level high enough to do Waking Nightmare over, does it work with credit from another game or does it start completely over? I am certain that I have done or had possession of all other artifacts. For whatever reason, I decided to be a nice person at the end of that quest.

The skeleton key is the only one that does not count and that leaves exactly 15 obtained artifacts, so if I hadn't spared that stupid dark elf, who I have since taken vengeance on, I'd have my achievement.

You also need the Masque of Clavicus Vile. If you choose to keep the Rueful Axe you won't be able to complete the achievement.

Wiki doesn't say anything about that. I do have the mask though. I spared the doggy. I have 15 Daedric quests complete which is the total as the Thieves guild quest doesn't count I don't believe. I have or had all items except for the Skull of Corruption. Sanguine Rose I remember completing but I don't recall what I did with the staff.

That is by logic, correct. The axe isn't a daedric artifact (although i wonder what it is anyway).

As for the achievement, i don't think you need to have the Sanguines staff locked away in a closed or in your inventory for it. I'd guess this works with variables that are set at the end of each daedric quest, depending on the outcome that is. So i think it doesn't matter where your Sanguine Rose is, unless you miss it yourself of course.

As for the Skull or Corruption, if you've decided not to kill Erandur and let him banish the Staff, you're pretty much screwed at that point, making the Achievement impossible to complete by usual means.

Yeah, your kind heart is at fault.

Come to the dark side.. we have cookies! :P

Well, guess what?

I found a little bit of a work around cheat. Although, I am not really considering this cheating since I did complete the quest all the way through and you could even view this as a fix if your quest glitched out. Thanks Bathesda...

Anyway, I found a few codes to reset the quest and such, show Erandur as dead and then complete the quest. As I mentioned, I ended up killing Erandur after the quest anyway. He got on my nerves.

Trust me, aside from the Dog, ( I am a dog lover) and Erandur, I spare nobody. I am selfish, vindictive and malicious with my characters. Anyway, I have the achievement now. My previous theory on that being the missing artifact was absolutely correct.

Unf! Unf!

I made the mistake of keeping the axe and screwing myself out of the achievement.

However, I duped the ring of Hircine to get it. This stuff should all be on the UESP wiki.
