LucyBusy2 Posted September 20 Posted September 20 View File Mpreg_expansion Intro This is a simple mod that allows male characters to get pregnant. These files were created for personal use, but I don’t want them to go to waste after I stop playing the game, so I’m posting them here. This mod is based on Mpreg by Safetymax from the Steam Workshop, but I had to rewrite everything to make it compatible with CD3 ARSL. The only things taken from his mod are his assets (the pregnant mesh and portrait). What this mod does? - Gives NPCs one of two traits: Top or Bottom. Both can get pregnant, but Bottom has a higher rate. Both traits are randomly re-rolled every 3 years for all NPCs. TT and BB = 0.4× fertility; TB = 1× fertility. - ARSL compaitable. In ARSL scenes, the Top character is always assigned the Initiator role. If both have the same trait, the position is random. The Initiator is excluded from conception after the scene. - In the background, NPCs (and the player) with gay or bisexual orientation can randomly get pregnant every year. Pairing priority: Spouse > Soulmate > Lovers. For the player, this can be disabled in the event tab. - Auto-culling of children from male pregnancies: only a 40% chance they survive after birth (excluding the player’s children). For player's child, you can choose what to do with them. You can also disown your child at any time. - Adds a real_father tag to mark the other father. - Auto-divorce: if you don’t have sex with your partner for a year, there is a chance to gain a divorce stack. Once it reaches more than 2 stacks, divorce triggers. *Straight couples and NPCs are not affected by this mod. Requirement - CD3 and CD3 - ARSL 1.9.2.1 Load order 1. CD3 2. NotTellinCha Posted September 20 Posted September 20 (edited) hi, so i tried out your mod, and somehow now when i try to marry off my kid, it only shows people whose sexuality matched between the two of them. So my asexual descendants literally cant get married at all, homos can only marry other same gender homo/bi, heteros can only marry opposite gender that's hetero/bi Edited September 20 by NotTellinCha

Can you explain with more context or share a log? Btw, you can try changing the load order by putting my mod lower than all CD3 mods, that might help.
i0Bjhansen0 Posted September 20 Posted September 20 My character got pregnant and I noticed right away that there's a seam around the collarbone/shoulder blade area. Where the head mesh meets the body mesh. I know you said in the mod description that you used the other person's mesh but I still wanted to mention it.

0000008893 Posted September 20 Posted September 20 The child did not inherit the special trait, such as blood_trait.
i0Bjhansen0 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 (edited) I think the Top and Bottom traits shouldn't be personality traits because they can cause a character to be generated without 3 personality traits. I've gotten a few to show up with 1 personality trait and Top and/or Bottom. Also, an already pregnant player character can have the conception notification show up. I think that overwrites the original pregnancy causing the next child to be born from the new father. I imagine this can happen to non-player characters as well. Edited September 21 by i0Bjhansen0

There are like 4-5 features in the non-ported version that I still haven't added to this mod. Still trying to figure out how to port them properly. Edited September 21 by LucyBusy2
i0Bjhansen0 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 (edited) Not sure how to get you a log. I also can't get it to happen anymore cause it keeps giving my character the top trait. Few other things. The mod rerolls the top/bottom trait for the player character every so often. It really shouldn't because it tends to switch whether they're a top or bottom. Like I want my character to stay top or bottom. Also, a child born to two lowborn parents or the impregnator is lowborn causes the child to create an entirely new house. They should still be lowborn if both parents are lowborn or if the carrier had a house it puts them in that house. Characters can get pregnant during fellatio sex and during a threesome it's sort of random who gets pregnant. With the mod adding a chance to make sexual partners friends (best friends) and lovers (soulmates), it makes it possible to see a character's lovers/soulmates even if you don't know their lover secret. If they're also a friend/best friend the lover/soulmate icon shows on the character in their relation tab. This feature should probably be reverted because it changes things pretty drastically. Also some suggestions for game rules. 1. Reroll traits Enabled - Default behavior. Disabled - It only attempts to give a NPC without a top/bottom trait a top and/or bottom trait. 2. Automatic Pregnancies Enabled - Default behavior. Disabled - No one will get automatic pregnancies. 3. Child Culling Enabled - Default behavior. Lenient - More likely to accept the child. (75% instead of 40%) Disabled - Children will never be culled. 4. Divorce stacks Enabled - Default behavior. Lenient - 5 stacks instead of 2. Disabled - Never divorce through the mod. My bad, I didn’t write all the details clearly enough in the description. - For the child part: it was mainly to prevent bloating the courtier children tree. The 40% who survive the cull are split evenly, 20% adopted by the carrier father and 20% adopted by a random NPC/ part of a random kingdom including player. - The random traits part is also there to help prevent bloating. - From both the culling and the random traits systems combined, the estimate is that one person will end up with about 3–4 children linked to them before that person dies. - I’m certain they can’t get pregnant from fellatio, but for threesomes the 12/13/23 rule applies, so every character gets a conception roll with each of the others. - For divorce: even two stacks is very unlikely to ever happen. There’s also a 10% chance every year to clear all stacks, and having sex just once during the year is enough to avoid gaining a stack. So in practice, divorce is most likely to happen to straight couples where one partner turns homosexual. - In this version you can toggle on/off whether the player character is included in the background rolls. Regarding your suggestion, the toggle parts can be done in the next update. As for the trait reroll, another reason to reroll every certain number of years is to handle edge cases. For example, NPCs who spawn from the game rather than being born in it. In those cases there’s no reliable way to detect them properly. Edited September 22 by LucyBusy2
i0Bjhansen0 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 5 hours ago, LucyBusy2 said: [snip] Well I think part of the problem with needing the culling is the part where you've introduced the "pregnant every year" thing. If they're naturally getting pregnant then it's not an issue. You've already got the concept of losing the pregnancy at 3 and 6 months so that's already doing culling. But I sometimes want all the children that are born to stay around. 60% loss seems like a lot. Either they have sex and get pregnant or they don't. The random trait thing is fine. It's when it keeps changing that's the problem. Like why would two people who are in a relationship just suddenly change top/bottom? And now they're either completely switching roles or they're no longer top AND bottom. I've seen some couples with 10+ kids. If they're really trying that hard to have kids then they should be able to have that many kids. If a MM couple really just does have that much sex then they should have a ton of kids. It'll be up to the game events whether or not they survive to adulthood. I literally just had a conception notification appear immediately after doing fellatio. I know it can happen. For threesomes it doesn't make sense to roll for all 3 pairings, because for both threesomes only one person is being anally penetrated. One of them is a double penetration so it should only roll between each of the two tops and the bottom. I noticed a lot of random couples were no longer married. Even straight couples. I once even had a courtier couple that were soulmates and they eventually got forced to be divorced by the mod. I would just want to turn that whole thing off. That toggle on off is ONLY for the forced pregnancy roll. They can still get their top/bottom trait rerolled. I'm only saying that it should only give characters who don't have a top and/or bottom trait one or both of them, not reroll if a character is top or bottom, potentially causing them to switch. I usually make my played character immortal and I usually want them to have a ton of kids. But they keep getting forced out of the bottom trait and they lose pregnancies even though they really shouldn't. So I don't get as many kids as I want. Here's a repeat for the things I mentioned before that you might have missed. There's a bad seam between the body and head mesh when pregnant. I do have other mods but I don't think they shouldn't be the cause because if they were then just being nude would have a seam. Top and Bottom traits shouldn't be personality traits. They should just be something like a lifestyle trait. Mainly just so they don't conflict with the game trying to generate 3 personality traits but being unable to do so because they already have top and/or bottom. Before I modified it for my game, I noticed a lot of newly generated characters only have 1 or 2 personality traits. I even saw one that had none except for top/bottom. Children born by lowborn NPC parents are put into a new house instead of becoming lowborn. I don't think it affects the player's kids because I once chose for them to go with their lowborn father and it worked correctly. The mod shouldn't make characters friends/best friends or lovers/soulmates just by having sex. That's something extra that does too much. There's already plenty of ways for the game events to make two characters friends or lovers. Basically what I'm saying is this is a nice mod. I've been wanting an mpreg mod since I got the game, but it's much more than just a "men can get pregnant" mod. If you want to include other features, they really should be optional. Such as the culling, divorce, rerolling traits, and the yearly pregnancy. Let the player decide if they want to have an absolute crapload of kids showing up. I know you said this is a personal mod but at least think about it. I don't really know what I'm doing with modding CK3 otherwise I would offer to help. I've made a few small edits to other mods and some personal mods, but they're all incredibly bulky. Like think of overwriting the entire file just to change one line. Sorry if this whole wall of text comes off as demanding.

I will update this mod on this weekend then. btw you see some couples have 10+ kids that correct bcuz there is a dedicated loop for spouses to have sex on top of the lover loop to prevent cheating but still a chance to do so and the spouse have 50%+ chance to keep the child. ( I dont remember the exact number but above 50 ), just to make marriage matter. Surely there’s smth else I missed, and I haven’t listed anything for what I changed.
LordRenn Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Hey, congrats on the mod, i've been wanting a mpreg mod since forever. Having that said, anyone else having trouble with marriage proposals because the m/m pairing is considered to not have fertility?

That's just the game not knowing that MM pairings can have fertility now. That's how it is by default. It's another thing would need to be fixed. Also, unrelated but I actually like the forcing marriage based on sexuality instead of both. Which is why I haven't updated this mod yet. I just think maybe it should be lesbian = FF only, gay = MM only, and both for bi and ace. I want to see more gays getting married in my game but the game almost always prefers to do straight marriages. I also wish the "arrange introduction" option would do MM from time to time. But it only does straight. Maybe I wouldn't mind another ruler arranging a marriage with my played character or a family member if it was MM. Edited September 27 by i0Bjhansen0

i0Bjhansen0 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 (edited) So I use Homoerotic Faiths and I did the ritual of manhood on another character and it chose my character for bottom (which is not a big deal cause I think it's supposed to do that some times). I also set the pregnancy chance to 100%. The issue was that my character as a top got pregnant cause they were bottom in sex. Which also isn't a big deal but I didn't want them to get pregnant at that point. Would doing "Exclude from Conception" on my character stop them from being picked as the character becoming pregnant or would it stop them from also being the impregnator? [edit] Tried testing and looked at the code and unfortunately it looks like it stops that character from being involved with pregnancy in general. Edited September 30 by i0Bjhansen0

If you provide a log that might help. 100% is always pregnant no matter what. "Exclude from Conception" is for not getting pregnant. All NL outcome if fail, always consider PC as bottom.

The bottom (other character) never got pregnant after. With include on my character, the bottom got pregnant first try. I'm not sure how HF decides top/bottom unless it's always random anyway and doesn't take into account the position preference from CD3. What log would you need? There seems to be a bunch of them.
