Bluegunk Posted Saturday at 02:56 PM Posted Saturday at 02:56 PM I've a top end system with an Nvidia 5090 32GB card, which has run perfectly. I went back to playing Starfield last week, and all is well except for game menu exit, where the screen falls to a flat green-blue and the audio sounds like a faint steam engine going 'chuff chuff'. The game has to be force shut through System Task Manager. No crash logs are generated.  Starfield is on the latest version with all DLC, running on an SSD away from the C drive. It's also excepted from Anit-Virus monitoring.  I've matched the screen refresh rate and capped the FPS both to 237 (240 being the max). Vsync is handled in the Nvidia Control Panel.  Anyone any ideas that I can investigate further?  Â
jaam Posted Saturday at 08:35 PM Posted Saturday at 08:35 PM It should not be necessary with the latest game version but there is a Baka mod on Nexus to force the game to close properly.
Bluegunk Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago Thanks. But the problem occurs when exiting the menus back into the game to continue playing.
