missing texture on player model

hi everyone, ive been dealing with this headache of an issue for over 6 hours now. im currently using the Umbrael bodyslide preset and Total Unique Player 2.0 to, well, have umbrael as my character. TUP2 seems to have forgotten to include body skin meshes, because even without the preset, my character's entire body is a missing texture, although the shape is correct. NPCs are completely fine, although ive been having issues with compiling umbrael as player-specific and not having any preset applied to npcs. perhaps TUP2 just doesnt function. i cant find any forum posts here or on nexus for a solution. the reason im posting here is because loverslab users are usually quicker and more helpful.

literally ANY help is appreciated. ive been at this for way too long.

links to mods in question:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/55037 umbrael requires bodyslide, cbbe, 3ba, cbpc, hdt-smp, xp32
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28840 tup2 requires bodyslide, cbbe. i use the race compatibility mods which only affect dialogue and functionality with vampirism.

Typically unique player -mods will have you provide the assets yourself, especially when you're customizing things. Reason being there's no way one of these mods could ever patch every single outfit mod, mesh replacer and texture replacer to work with their implementation of a unique player. With that said, More Informative Console can tell you how it's implemented, where it's expecting to find the skin texture and thus where you need to copy your current skin texture to have it work with the unique player setup.

The mod also lists The Pure skin as a requirement.

i didnt see that in the first place, my bad. i did try and install it but the texturing issue persists. it looks completely fine in bodyslide studio though, its even carried over the new skin texture. i still cant seem to get the preset to be player-exclusive either.

i've tried this manually which ended up causing more problems, but ill try it with MIC when i get some more free time.
