SnuggleFoxy Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I hope this is not a bother, but I've also posted this in Nexus too. I love the bodyslide /outfit studio program. But I seem to have one issue. I did not mind it at first until I made a conversion of some stockings and noticed how much clipping it had. The issue is that when I get to the weighting process, it does not show my weights. Because of this I am unable to make the needed tweaks to the outfit, so it correctly forms to the body in game. I've searched all over the net and it seems I am like the only person that has this problem, If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. Thanks,.
hryh23k9823u Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 That's because your divers doesnt fully support Open GL That happens (as far I know) with: some integrated Intel HD graphic cards and windows 8 legacy drivers for old ATI Radeon cards. In the first case I don't know if there's a fix or the authors are gonna add a compatiblity fix; in the second case you would need a modified drivers (worked for me) Also hapens that you see the textures darkened (like in your pictures), and you cant see vertice mask and other functions. However you usually dont need to repaint the weights, only copy them, if you use a good reference body, like the HDT Body.
blabba Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 First, hello to LL! It's a nicer place than nexus (in my minds eye) Shameless Plug-time:http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25180-unofficial-bodyslide-2outfit-studio-tutorials/ And if you read the FAQ, it should help answer this question but here's a quote: Q: Whenever I click the Bones tab and try to copy weights Outfit Studio crashes for me! A: A HUGE known bug the Bodyslide team. The program unfortunately doesn't work too well for users with Intel graphics cards and are on Windows 8/8.1 It also doesn't play well with other configurations. No current workaround other than wait for an official update to the program. Alternatively you can make a thread/post with the outfits .nif and ask someone to copy the weights for you into the nif. You may then proceed with the conversion with the modified .nif. Edit: Gah, Lother beat me to the punchline xD, his answer be better (IMO)
hryh23k9823u Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Oh well. But you're the author of the HDT Body I mentioned, that beats all possible answers
RitualClarity Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 @blabba It is better for those seeking answers to have someone ninja'd than not to get an answer at all.. Anyway the ninja'd posts only serves to prove the post above them so it is still very valuable in itself. Despite being ninja'd.
SnuggleFoxy Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 Thank you all for the responses. It seems I am a victim of the ATI tough luck . (Damn you ATI, you strike yet again). Also, in response to copy boneweights, I've actually tried it, and it seems like, sadly; it did not work well for me. I clip like crazy. But again, maybe I followed the instructions wrong. I tend to get leg clippage and my inner thighs clothing seems to want to love each other they want to stick together. Though maybe this comes from using a bigger body type. Not sure how it all correlates.
hryh23k9823u Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 What is your card and operative system? Because I had the same problem as you with my 4670. Also for copy bone weights, there are several forms, but selecting the tbbp ones (4 for breast, 2 for butt, and optionally 1 for belly if want to enable pregnancy) manually in the bone tabs (pressing control and left click over them to select at one) and then shape > copy selected weights for each element of the outfit is only non buggy option. As well as conforming indivually to slider (or control+c) each element of the outfit instead of conform all.
SnuggleFoxy Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 Hello, My card is the ATI Readon 4800 series and windows 7.
hryh23k9823u Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Oh well, those are legacy, the lastest one. They're ok. Install them. Then install on top these, and it should work propertly (if it doesnt, install them manually through the device manager). Also with this drivers you should have full Catalyst back if you lost it with the legacy version.
SnuggleFoxy Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Ok, so I finally got a chance to try it. It seems, I that I still cannot see weights , so the ATI curse continues. Though if there is any 2nd prize, my catalyst program works yet again, after 3 years of not working at all. Thank you for that. I just hope a fix for us ATI people, comes soon enough.
hryh23k9823u Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Weird, cause the same drivers, card (even older) worked for me. Did you installed the lastest drivers from amd website, and then the ones I linked you manually through the device manager? I tell because usually through the installer, it may install catalyst, hydra vision, etc. etc. but the video drivers itself may be skipped. I needed to install those browising to them through the device manager.
Zephyrion Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I also have the same problem with a HD 4800 Radeon card, except my OS is 64 bit Vista, will the above software work for me? Never mind I got it fixed by reinstalling the drivers and getting the hydra addon.
