Agarthian Lizard Person Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Show Breasts Under Certain Clothes (For Sized Apparel) View File This is my first mod EVER, so please have patience with me. i can accept requests on what to add, though my knowledge on coding/modding is so limited i might not be able to do much.  This is basically a submod for Sized Apparel  This mod makes certain clothing show breasts &/or gentials  Have you ever been playing a game with sized apparel on, you're having fun looking at pixelated boobs, when all of a sudden you put an item on that should clearly show said boobs, but instead they look like this:  this is because the modded items are unsupported, and they cover the genitals, groin and breasts area, even though their texture doesn't show any evidence to say it should.  This mod fixes it, by patching certain items to not cover the "torso, chest & genital area"   But Why Not Just Use The Ignore Unsupported Textures Option In The Sized Apparel Settings? You can absolutely do that, however any unsupported CLOTHING (dresses, bikinis, pretty much any top) will have clipping issues where either the nipple, or the entire breast (depending on the breast size) will clip through the clothing. this mod simply makes changes to certain mods so only specific clothing is not covering the breasts. this isn't 100 percent accurate, and i might have missed some stuff.  Mods Used: well, to be honest, i did this shit by candlelight at like 3AM with an edible popped, so i can't really say WHAT ALL the mods i changed are. i can however list a few that i recall. Tasty Armor Core (And all the submods for Tasty Armor) Edo Themed Expansion T's Samurai Faction Medieval Coastal Outfits Lisa's Peasant Apparel Medieval Overhaul: House Ignivar Vanilla Factions Expanded - Medieval 2 Vanilla Factions Expanded - Empire  again i will warn, that some items might have been missed, some things might not work, and the modder has LITTERALLY ZERO MODDING experience. that being said, i hope you enjoy. ToastBaron Posted September 18 Posted September 18 This gives a lot of failed patch operation errors on startup if you don't have all the aforementioned mods installed. According to my limited knowledge, this is probably fine, I think? Could someone more knowledgeable about rimworld modding confirm this won't cause problems?
Agarthian Lizard Person Posted September 21 Author Posted September 21 @ToastBaron i've noticed this too, however i don't know how to make it ignore it since it looks for the specific modded items. as far as i can see through playtesting, it doesn't affect anything. 1
DeadSomething Posted October 4 Posted October 4 if you want to patch it without those errors, you'd need to create an if clause around each actual patch to only try to apply the patch IF the mod is actually present. idk how exactly to do that, but i've seen it done in other mods. that way, the log will only say "mod xxx not found, skipping patch" or whatever line you define to output.
Agarthian Lizard Person Posted Saturday at 02:23 AM Author Posted Saturday at 02:23 AM Hmm, so a conditional statement..to be honest i'd love to make a community project with more experienced modders to make an All-In-One Patch mod for the Sized Apparel Mod someday, so that's entirely possible to do in the future.
DeadSomething Posted Saturday at 06:29 PM Posted Saturday at 06:29 PM yes, that's possible. other patch collections do it the same way and a lot of mods change their own behaviour if certain other mods are present.
