an zoug Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Need Help with converting High heels! I didn't find any step-by-step guide about converting high heels. I am new to operating Outfit Studio, so the instructions would be the more detailed the better.
happosade77 Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Yeah, there really isn't any guide for that. How I would proceed with converting heels depends on the heels. I'll give few examples: 1. If they are shoes (much of the feet covered), I usually crop the feet of the conversion reference (mask->separate vertices) before conforming. You may still need to try different search values to see what looks best. 2. If they are pumps (and often non-pumps too), it's better to not use conversion reference at all, and just use increase mesh volume tool to make them fit the FG feet. Obviously you need to use the HighHeels slider first for the FG body to match the heel angle. Then mask part of the feet and create zap slider to hide it. 3. If you don't want to modify the shape of the heels/pumps (but can't just hide the feet), you can make a new slider for the Fusion Girl body (heels fit, or something), then turn on edit mode of that slider and decrease mesh volume of the FG feet. Then set it Hidden with default value of 100. 4. If the heels have a unique (visible) feet shape, you can separate cbbe feet to a new shape and then hide the feet of the FG body. This is of course the worst solution, because even if you have converted the cbbe shape to fg shape, it rarely is a perfect match. But sometimes you have to make compromises. Hope these help.
