Does anyone know how to get BOSS to work with MO2?

Whenever I try to run it, all it does is 'change' the load order of the regular game files.

I've got it on that setting where the plugins aren't in the same location as the game files so I don't think it's picking them up.

Never use LOOT for Oblivion!!!

There are always people who claim that LOOT can sort Oblivion mods and that they have no problems with load orders sorted by LOOT. But those people then have only very few mods.   All the LOOT-sorted load orders I've seen to date were rubbish. There were even some that placed the mod before its master files.

Why don't you sort manually?
The BOSS tool always places mods it doesn't know (are not in the BOSS masterlist) at the end of the load order, so you have to manually move them to the correct position.
And if you don't add the unknown mod to the BOSS masterlist, it will end up at the bottom of the load order again the next time you run BOSS.

I don't use the BOSS tool. I only use the BOSS masterlist, open it with notepad++ and search a new Mod.
The base Mods (all DLCs) are always the same, and you sort them according to a exsample list. Many frequently used mods are also included in the example lists.
For other Mods you use the BOSS masterlist.
And Mods that are not in the masterlist you sort manually. You sort these Mods manually; clothes Mods to sorted clothes Mods, Quest Mods to sorted quest Mods, .....Sort them in about alphabetically within the categories.

Don't worry, I did it with BOSS, not LOOT. I have seen your many, many warnings on the subject.

As for why. Well, I don't really know what I'm doing and it seemed wise to have a tool in my arsenal.

That said, I'll use what you've supplied as a guide to sorting it myself.
