NoN - Data driven animation mod compatible with fabric 1.21.11

This is a mod that allows you to play a bunch of awesome animations using data driven packs made by the NoN team and community.

This mod does not provide any animations or similar, its just a framework mod.

question
in the last version mobs had visible genitals (both male and female), in the new update I'm not seeing those aside from the male , is there a way to turn those on or is this another thing related to community pack stuff?

So, this mod is really awesome... but 1.21.11 is such a difficult version to get a reasonably large modpack for. My best collection of mods for 1.21.11 stops at ~300, but for 1.20.1 it's easy to hit 500-700+. There are so many good mods that stop being updated past 1.21.1-1.21.8 and skip 1.21.11 entirely. Any chance we could see a version for a more widely modded version such as 1.20.1, 1.21.1, or maybe even a forge/neoforge port?

hover for details. Your "Masks" need to be masks, that means they need to be black and white textures. look at the guide for reference

Is there a way to override the new Chinese translation tho. Resource pack won't work.

It should work when placed in the normal lang directory but if not just place it in 'assets\needsofnature\lang\zh_cn.json'

I tried this but it's not working either... nevermind...

Would you possibly add non-overlay skin destruction? I get why the overlay system exists, however it does make creating skins wherein the garments are supposed to be in multiple layers (think underwear bellow t-shirts/stockings bellow the coat/pants) rather tricky.

its a good point. The current system is made to be as simple and approachable as possible but I see that something like this could be interesting. Im looking into it, until then you could create exactly this using cpm I believe using the ripped progession value and switching textures but I see that this is quite complicated for what it is

Bug found, the Drowned doesn't have its model. Only the default pack is installed so I know it's not a community pack issue.

yes, drowned model and breeze model are currently broken, there was an oversight. We will release a fixed version very soon

Oh dayum it got updated, very nice

Any DC plan? Or any lite version of the DC with shared packs?

Because of recent event the DC plans were scrambled a bit. We are currently working on a packs website that should be ready in about 2 weeks

May I request documentation for NonEvents? The guide basically skips over it, and poking around with javap is a bit of a pain.

(The reason I'm doing so is that I'm thinking about making the trinket effects have corresponding attributes)

i still don't really understand how to fix this, like should I make it black and white or what?

Pretty much, yeah. Black corresponds to the base skin, white corresponds to the destroyed skin, greys blend the two, I don't quite remember what transparency does (and how it handles fully transparent pixels which have non-zero color values...).

Okay, then what? I have to change my white shirt or what?
