This is a lewd portrait mod for humanoid machines.

 

I would call these low effort AI slop, because that's what they are referred to as.  The phrase gave me a false sense of confidence that I could just throw something together.  But this took surprisingly long to do, partly because I've never made a Stellaris mod, so I had to learn how to do this.

 

I created two sets.  One more human than the other.

 

Anyway, have a bunch of naked or semi-naked female-looking robots.  Now that I've sunk a good 20 hours into figuring this out, I'll probably make more of these if other people have any interest.

This is handy because the recent update broke a huge number of machine/robot portrait mods for some inexplicable reason.

Its telling me that the path of the mods descriptor file is invalid or does not exist, I feel like I did what I normally do for mods. Is something missing?

This is because the mod descriptor contains an absolute path with the user directory of the uploader. Replace this with the relative path, i.e. "path="mod/Machine_Lewd", then the Paradox launcher expands this path automatically (i.e. prepends your user directory to the relative path).

 

The real problem is, that even when the path is right, the lewd robot portraits don't appear in the "Create new" empire window. I desperately need some sexy robot portraits, because I want to try out the new "Lustful Void" upload (and the LV builtin machine portrait is stone age, looks terrible). Any high quality robot portraits out there ?, the more explicit and sexy, the better  

 

Ps: Ah, I think "species_class = ROBOT" is the problem, this is different from MACHINE, when you create a machine empire, I guess. Oh, shit, no, he has both entries, for ROBOTS and MACHINES, this is not the problem.

 

The portraits appear in a separate top level category, "LewdSexbots" (besides the other top level categories, "Humanoid", "Machine", "Mammalian", etc.), I had overlooked that.

 

But this mod has one real bug (according to the AI):

 

"2. Duplicate key in portrait_sets — In Machine_Lewd\common\portrait_sets\Lewd_Sexbots.txt, there are two blocks both named Lewd_Sexbots (one for MACHINE, one for ROBOT). The second silently overwrites the first, so the MACHINE species class gets no portraits at all. Each block needs a unique name."

 

I let the AI fix this, not sure if this is really required, but anyway, I can select "Gestalt Consciousness", "Machine Inteligence" and "Rogue Servitor" for the LewdSexbots, so I hope everything is OK.
