Devious Device struggling mod(s)?

Is there a mod or mod(s) which replaces the "click and wait 30 boring seconds of a looping animation" for Devious Devices while remaining compatible with just about everything else? Even if it just replaces that with a lockpicking trigger, it would still be preferable to the current system. 

 

If I'm remembering right, Devious Lore had incompatibility issues due to it replacing and renaming most devices. Unforgiving Devices definitely introduces a great deal of troubleshooting, even if I really enjoyed its struggle mechanics. Are those the only options...?

Devious Devices Escape Overhaul offers a struggling minigame and Skyrim's lockpicking minigame.  It's marked as LE-only, but it works for people on SE/AE.  The main drawback is that it's no longer supported, but it does the job.

DL comes with a patch, I've been using it for years now on LE and AE. Doesn't change the silly struggling animation though, but you can ask a follower to unlock you, which is way faster.
