Follower System Overhaul or Multiple Follower System Tweaks ?

I have bad rep with Follower Overhauls like UFO and AFT. 

 

UFO worked really well in previous playthroughs, but the dialog menu is clunky and there are just too many options for me, too script heavy.

 

AFT worked a bit with my current playthrough, but when I reinstalled it, it stopped working (couldn't manage with AFT Serana, Lydia wouldn't even follow me, everything I pressed in the reset/diagnosis/etc. menus spewed Papyrus errors)

 

I've tried EFF so far, it looks nice, I like the radial menu he's got going. It doesn't do the neat stuff AFT does like auto-relax (yet) or combat/town/house outfits, or even manage Serana, but I can live with that.

 

But in the end, I just want to have better follower AI / stealth, inventory management and auto-relax maybe.

 

I don't know much about scripts other than they murder everything in a fit of rage if you try to remove the associated mod. But I also assume you can't live without scripts if you want to overhaul or even tweak followers.

 

Anyway, what do you guys run with, anyone here use a couple of follower tweaks that work well together and allow you to avoid installing an overhaul to just get a handful of features ?

I've avoided them like the plague!

 

But my last two characters have used Puppet Master. It doesn't have all the features that the others have, though. But it does have a couple cool ones no others have, too.

I prefer EFF it's the one that at least doesn't fiddle around with NPC Data, or fiddle around in stuff where I look in TES5Edit and scream "What the fuckting hell?"^^

Is Better Stealth AI for Followers - No Torch while Sneaking compatible with EFF ? I assume they both modify scripts, right ?

Compatibility:
This mod is fully compatible with other mods that alter the NPCs, such as Better Followers and Specialized Followers, and with mods that change NPC appearance. It is also compatible with mods that alter the follower quest/dialogue such as UFO, EFF, or AFT.
NOTE: When used with UFO, it may be necessary to reset the follower back to vanilla combat behavior (using the dialogue option "Attack first" or "Initiate combat whenever enemies are near") before dismissing the follower.

well i don't have any kind of problems with AFT, papyrus or scripted

 

 

1 thing that bugs me is that the kiss animation is ugly as fuck and the relax ins't that great like and t lack some things like.... lets say lydia day dreaming after a hardass fight with a dragon or Lisette dancing if you are at home with your wife and kids
