Ah yes, lets contribute MORE to the dead/lost mods. This isn't the solution because A LOT of forums with mods will vanish if that's the case. People have issues that'll never change and it'll always cause issues like this. I think people just need thicker skin in general. Or just don't deal with problem people in general, but basically strangling the access to your mod is the last thing you should do, imo anyway. I mean a middle man could even be used if it's that much of an issue and you NEED to work with a problem person on a technical level. Ijs there's many ways to solve this that's better than what we have now or nuking the whole forum and losing mods.

You know what, that's a valid point that I didn't think of. My main concern is if the situation is genuinely too far gone at this point to where people won't talk to each other at all.

Because there's pretty much nothing to talk about at this point anymore. Starting off, things were fine, then one person started having issues with content creators after a while, now very few want to deal with them anymore.

 

It falls on one person to address their attitude or an alternative gets made, there is no 3rd option for the matter besides "no one gets to have fun".

 

Addition: Even more so when said person is trying so hard to censor a build he doesn't like anymore and getting comments removed about it.

Glad to hear this nonsense hasn't discouraged you from continuing to support and maintain these mods. I adore your work and would very much like to see it continue. 1.0 giving us 72 new pals is very exciting and I hope to see some updates for them in the future

Most of the animators won't update their versions past framework 0.6.18 (which also requires unipalui 0.1.5), but also you can't talk in any of their discords for any exclusive items either or else you'll get autobanned from the framework owner's discord.

 

I highly recommend not getting super invested while things restructure and adapt to the changes made yesterday and overnight.

Oh I have been grinding the new update yesterday and will start making edits to the new Pals (there's so many dragons too~). The model pack has some issues with a few pals that need to be sorted out and then I will release it again here

Thanks mate! I just started the game yesterday with the 1.0 update I don't need any animations or anything. I just wanted to have, as the mod says, anatomical correct models, and maybe some futas.  Glad that you continue. Thanks!

Well, if they're still intact, the pack definitely did have some futa pals to operate with, some complete with a specific color for them no less.

palworld mod scene is next level toxic, thats why i didnt get involved in it. i got banned from TBC just for being a member of T-box on disco. so ive stayed fairly quiet and downloaded the mods i dont want to make.

While I don't really disagree much with the first portion of your statement, I question the second half. Would you be willing to pass over your Username? TBC has less than 30 bans overall and 90% of them are just compromised accounts, so I just think people are told they've been banned by people who were banned for legitimate reasons and just assume they're actually banned without actually checking. (or you were banned for a specific action, not just being a member of another server, we don't ban people for just being in another server >.>)

EDIT : (ok, the 30 number was a guess but apparently Discord ban pages hold like 100, so we have like 110 bans overall lol. I didn't realized how bad bots have gotten >.<)

Yeah, still working on inZOI mods ^-^ Obviously with Palworld 1.0 that has taken priority for a bit but have stuff going on in the background I'm not allowed to talk about yet that is super exciting! (If your name here matches discord, you were not banned for "talking in the other server" but do have a ban applied)

Oh okay I only really have a vague sense of whatever is going on so I won't comment on that, just happened to noticed I was removed after  messaging in the server for the first time. I think I'll just play vanilla palworld and inzoi for awhile and wait for things to settle

Well... Hello there everyone i am very much incredibly new here on this thread and the whole story i came here by searching up an animation framework since i saw on google there are actual animations for palworld. So far so good... wanted to learn more and maybe download stuff... and now i found this place... what actually happened who did what and wtf is going on ... could someone who knows whats going on elaborate for me please ... in DMs or here i dont really mind ... thing is maybe there is something to work out...

 

i read through the posts (mostly just flew trough them and tried to piece it together) but how the thing stands there is no good side and no bad side here.... just disagreements anyways i may be wrong my words may not have any weight to it BUT as i read through the post i read something about not trusting anymore.... and that is okay... problem with that is ... in my opinion not trusting anyone isnt a reason not to talk to someone.... look i get that feelings got hurt 100% trust was broken (as i said idk how) BUT not trusting someone doesnt prevent to talk to the person and work it out ... rebuild trust ... for example if i would make a mod someone else uses this mod for his mod and uploads both in his name without my consent... yes i would be pissed BUT ... i would ask him to put me in the credits... at least i can see that my work is liked that would give me the desire to keep on going make better ones make more... but now since this guy had broken my trust i would only show him AFTER i uploaded ... u know what i mean ....

 

i may be spectacularly wrong in that assumtion but it feels like that is what happened here thats why i asked what exactly happened and isnt there actually something to work out...since here seems to be a whole community behind this and the top guys for these mods (if i read it correctly) dont get along because of drama... that hurts the community more than you people since demand would be rising but product is nowhere in sight... frustration rises and stuff.... there will always be roadblocks ... everywhere ... but what would you do if you came to one of these blocks .... would you back up or try going around it

 

anyways in the end i would love to know what actually happened and make a post after this one to correct the things i was wrong about ... in the end everyone have a great day/night

Long story short, with (the original release of) SCake 0.6.19, the author included malicious code targeting specific content creators (myself included) to redact the author name from the animation events on the grounds of alleged "harassment" from us. That is quite the red flag and thankfully I caught it early (the author has been escalating drama consistently for the past year, so who knows?). If you (or anyone really) want(s) to see proof, you can always contact me...

As for the mods being removed from LL, yeah I agree with you, this ultimately hurts the community, but I simply refuse to create content for their framework/mods, not only because all trust has been lost, but because that move was extremely disrespectful, and the author's reaction ((they tried passing it off as trolling) and further actions (like reuploading 0.6.19 on the sly with the code removed) made it clear that they didn't care.

As for a way around all the drama, well, there is! (only for the models currently). Both PalMagic and DynamicPals can handle model replacement perfectly fine. My original plan was to reupload ProjectJZ (now renamed to "PrimalPals" as Jackal and me are no longer the only contributors) when PalMgic was uploaded, buuuut with 1.0 on the horizon I was terrified that might completely break the model pack so I held back... Turns out the pack mostly survived, but a few major issues did arise (some models being completely borked, or needing retexturing, materials changing etc...). Thankfully, I have resolved most of them with only a few final touches and testing left, so it will be uploaded very soon!
