Sexlab Aroused redux issues?

Hiii so I'm super new to modding and I've been trying to read up on how it all works but I keep getting this error when I try using Sexlab Aroused that says Sexlab Aroused error 20140124 downgrading not supported? I dont know what that means. I tried searching it but I only came across an old page here and couldnt find where it actually said anyting about it?

 

I tried using Sexlab Aroused Redux and I tried on Sexlab 1.63 and 1.66 but I got the same error on both and I dont know how to fix it. I use Vortex if that matters.

No. What matters is using the correct mod version for the version of Skyrim you are running.

 

You have posted this in the LE section. Are you running LE?

 

(I'm assuming that you aren't running LE)

Right-click on the SkyrimSE.exe - Details Tab - Product Version - will be  1.5.97.0 or 1.6.x.x. Make a note of the number.

 

Go to SE downloads section of LL, read the descriptions of each mod and download the version which is for your version of Skyrim.

 

All this applies to mods from Nexus too.

oh whoops I didnt realize i posted in LE but yea i am on AE and the redux version says it's for SE so I thought it would work on the 1.6 version like the other mods I used

that's the version I was using. It turns out its an issue with the SL utility tweaks from "osmelMC" I think. When I start up a new game with that, Sexlabs mcm stays blank, if I start a new game without it and initialize SL and my mods then activate utility+ after, I start getting the notification i put in the original post. Guess the tweaks just cause problems for me regardless if I'm using SLAR, Baka's aroused, OSL or SLO NG. Idk what it's overwriting but SL doesn't seem to like it and considers it a downgrade so any mods relying on Aroused just stop working right.

Don't use it myself so I can't offer any advice other than maybe ask in the support thread for Osmel and or Aroused.
