WickedWhims Strip Club employees keep disappearing from the Employees tab after every shift

Hi folks,

I'm having a really frustrating issue with WickedWhims strip club. No matter what I do, all hired dancers disappear from the Employees menu after every work shift ends. The dancers work fine during the shift, but just as soon as the workday ends, they are completely gone from the Employees tab and I have to hire them again.

My current setup:

  • Game version: 1.124.55.1030 + all 113 DLC.
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2.
  • This mods with latest versions:
    • WickedWhims (v187.17 from 13.05.2026, Patreon),
    • Nisa's Wicked Perversions (v2.3.3c from15.05.2026, Patreon),
    • and Basemental Drugs (v8.18.239 from 01.04.2026, Patreon).
  • Using custom strip club build: "Lusty Strip Club and Brothel" by Atixx (plus all included CC mods) from 01.02.2026.
  • Various animation packs with newest today available versions.

What I've already tried:

  • Created a completely new household and bought a brand new strip club lot.
  • Never changed any uniforms after hiring.
  • Never increased the dancer limit (still default).
  • Didn't mess with the Manage Employees menu.
  • Used ww.fix and ww.stripclub_reclaim_lot.
  • Saved only when the club is fully closed and all employees have left.
  • Hiring only auto-generated, standard game NPC's as dancers (not custom sims).
  • The lot was owned by a family with both one teen sim only and one young adult sim only.
  • It had some settings in WW, and some had none at all (the "out of the box" version).
  • I have not tested this on a regular (non-custom) strip club lot yet.
  • The dancers still exist in the world after disappearing from the employee list, just as they remain available for hire on the list itself.

Is this a known bug that still hasn't been fixed in the latest version?
Does anyone have a reliable workaround in 2026 that actually works long-term?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

(Sorry if this question has already been answered elsewhere on the forum and I'm duplicating it. If so, please let me know and provide a link to the solution.)

Problem/solution found.

I rolled back a version and just checked the workflow on WickedWhims 187.16 (13.02.2026) – the workers aren't disappearing, everything works as intended.

Thanks for the tip from the participants in the discussion under the following posts, who encountered the same issue and described it on this forum: huaaggg (here) and xJeyJeyx (here).

All that remains is to wait for the patch notes for the new version, I see.

Thanks for confirming that rolling back to the previous version works as a temporary fix while TURBO works on pinpointing the cause!

Does turbo have any ideas yet? I finally experienced this big yesterday. Thing is, it has been working fine. Nothing changed in my game. It just happened.

Apparently it's been an issue for some time now but it was way less common. It could happen for some people while others were fine. Now it seems like more people are experiencing it but some people are still blissfully ignorant for it.

The way I understand it is since the problem is not something that can be replicated for everyone (or rather no way to replicate it 100% of the time has been found yet), it's hard to tell why it's happening. But I'm not a programmer so I might be spreading a bunch of bull, so don't quote me on that 😅
