[mod] Sarah's Slightly Erotic Namelists - New Age (SSENNA) [BETA]

A lot of the existing NSFW namelists for Stellaris were a little bit in-your-face with the hypersexuality and/or submission and that didn't really jive with me or the empires I generally play, so I made my own! Suggestions/critique welcome, as are bug reports and complaints. See below for information on how badly Namelists have been changed and how much I've had to refactor.

 

They're sort of intended for use with a futanari/female-only prostitute empire or a matriarchy but the lists are meant to be fairly generic enough so that you can use them as-is for most libidinous empires. In total, there's 335+ unique shipnames in all three of these lists, mostly themed like idiosyncratic names like The Culture, but if it was at least 100x hornier. Ship names in particular have neither a submissive or dominant lean overall, but are very horny. They tend to run the gamut from subtle innuendo, to catty and playful, to downright pornographic.

 

This is a 4.3.* rework of my older mod that is very incomplete compared to the original and may be buggy. The way namelists (and even some mods that I previously had built-in support for) worked has changed completely compared to when that mod was released, so this version has a lot of limitations and may not work entirely as intended. However, I've opted to release what I have as-is, and continue iterating on it as I go, to try my best to emulate how the original mod functioned to the best of my ability. As such, this is a BETA mod that I'm looking mostly to get feedback on. 

 

Other Features

• Default Ship Class Names, the sort of things that a society built on a proud heritage of sex work would name things
• Libidinous References, Inside Jokes and Easter Eggs aplenty
• Corvettes and Destroyers have generic letter-number designations like real-world PT boats so your corvette spam fleets won't make your larger ships have "XXXXVIII" after their names
• Planet names right now are a little generic, I might improve these later with other suggestions.
• Small Chance of a Corvette/Destroyer being named "P3N15" that you can feel free to giggle over like a schoolgirl.

There are two namelists in the current file: Human, and a namelist I use for one of my personal empires the Arillian Illuminate. The only real difference between them is in the leader names. The previous "Roman" namelists from the original version are not included, but I do plan to re-work them eventually. "Yiff Party" may or may not make a return. 

 

DLC/Mod Support

In addition to support for all DLCs (Up to and including Nemesis), all namelists have extensive mod support:

  • NSC3 (with optional NSC compatibility patch) 

 

Unfortunately, in order to make custom NSC3 ship class names work, I had to overwrite the original files from NSC. NSC started using a flag within their files that made them use names from the Vanilla ship classes. This has the following major caveat: installing this patch will break NSC2 ship and class names for all namelists that aren't mine. Unfortunately, I haven't really been able to get around this. Use with caution. The mod is fully functional as-is without it, and honestly isn't even needed for the namelists in their current state. Future namelists I release that will be more feature-complete to the original mod will probably rely on it if you use NSC.

NSC Patch removed for now, as it needs reworking.

 

* Some mod/DLC support may be patchy or incomplete. However, barring a few edge cases everything is covered to the best of my ability and knowedge. Please let me know if you find holes, and you can feel free to suggest further mod support.
