Your Favorite "Enslaved" Mods for Games?

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I was checking in after a long time and was curious about the state of enslaved mods across different games. Do you all have favorites or know the best ones out there?

I remember there being a great one for falmer that actually had you do stuff in Skyrim but at this point I don't know whether to install SE or original Skyrim haha.

Also there was one I tried very early on in its development for Fallout 4 but it wasn't too completed at that time.

Yeah just interested in what you all have had fun with or remember being good!

you want AE now -- it is all caught up and has far exceeded anything LE can do at this point.

in my experience, all the FO4 mods feel half done, which is unfortunate.

for skyrim, i'd recommend you start wtih simple slavery and gather the mods it connects to -- that will give you the majority of slavery mods still being worked on.

For whatever reason, I couldn't get this to work. Maybe one day.

The Simple Slavery mods. I couldn't get Plus Plus to work, couldn't get regular Simple Slavery to work.

Simple Slavery Plus Plus has very few requirements. It is about as plug-and-play as you can get. what do you mean by "couldn't get it to work"?

It might be because I'm using Vortex mod manager but it causes conflicts and crashes when it's active and I have no idea how to get around that besides just leaving it disabled. Once I'm done with my current playthrough, I'll probably just delete all the mods and start over.

SS would not be causing that - like i said, it is almost entirely non-invasive and won't conflict with anything.

Vortex isn't your issue, either, it is very good.

Sounds like you need to go through your mods and make sure you have everything on the right version (don't mix LE and SE mods, etc) with all dependencies and patches accounted for.

I'll give it a try.

If I activate it, will it mess up already established save files? I know that some mods break the game if they are activated when you started the story without them.

It is best never to add or subtract mods on a current save. If you have been doing that, that might be your issue

I learned that lesson the hard way a while ago. Now, if I add/remove mods, I start a new character every time. I'm just trying not to start over for the 8th time.

AE -> anniversary edition. I believe it's the special edition with the anniversary upgrade dlc.

LE-> legendary edition.  Released before the special edition .Don't think you can get this version anymore

So, I started up Vortex and decided to just activate the mod to see what error I have. What ends up happening is that I click on the SKSE and the game itself doesn't even start. Whereas the game starts just fine when that specific mod is disabled.
