FauxFurry Posted May 2 Posted May 2 If these leaks are accurate, it reveals a lot about what people on average are willing to pay for in this game and what is niche content made for a vocal minority. https://simscommunity.info/2026/05/02/pack-sales-sims-4-sims-3-dlc-figures/comment-page-1/ This could aid mod makers in knowing what expansions, game packs and stuff packs potential mod users are likely to have, at the very least. 1
PECO Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Oh wow, NGL these are some brutal numbers. No wonder EA doesn't want to move onto a new game, these sales figures are strong! Even the "megaflop" Lovestruck had raked in north of $55m (counting with an average $20 price to account for sales), while best sellers like Cats & Dogs and City Living are bringing in an eye-watering $300m+! 😵 (though I'm a bit surprised that Get to Work sold only a below average 7.8m copies... that's like my fav still - also very important pack modding-wise, lots of mods use it)
MrGrey Posted May 28 Posted May 28 So... those are unit sales and EA's revenue would be wholesale price to e.g. Steam and not retail price to the customer where steam gets a cut.
