Keep Getting The Default Bra on My Female Sims

I've had this issue periodically for the last few games, and I have it again. The default base game pink bra keeps appearing on my Sims. If they're nude when I am in CAS, and add a top, if I remove it or change it, the default bra appears. It cannot be removed. Never once, since I've been playing Sims in the last 3 years, have I ever had this issue. I download or create a Sim and everything is fine. Next day, I go to check her nude body, and the irremovable pink bra is back. I can see it in CAS as part of the base game. I've researched how to get rid of it happening, but nothing works. I have WW settings set to undress to the bra, turned off.

Can you test with just WW, no other mods and see if the bra appears then too?

Tried that, and it made no difference. If I start off with a new Sim, she appears naked at first. If I add an upper clothing item, and then remove it in CAS, the bra appears. You can actually see the selected base game bra item in CAS. Clicking its "X" doesn't do anything. If I go to Wicked Whims Settings and select "Naturalism".... or have her go into the shower, she becomes completely naked - no bra. And other tops aren't appearing on her along with that item. I also have made sure that in WW settings, for "undressing type", I have "undressing to underwear" deselected. I hadn't played Sims 4 for about a year, and NEVER had this issue with the game and WW at that time.

Well, after about the last 10-15 hours of trying, I just cannot find a solution. I've tried Scumbumbo's mods, Little Ms. Sam's bathing outfit mods, numerous command line scripts, body copying, Install and reinstalled a dozen times ad nauseum. Some solutions work briefly for the moment, but the pink bra ALWAYS returns. The strange thing is, it doesn't show ALONGSIDE whatever CAS clothing I place on my Sim, those outfits replace it. Until I remove them in CAS. And they ARE nude in the shower. And they WILL exercise and swim nude. And Turbo's WW Wicked Whims command for Naturalism works.....but, as soon as I'm in CAS and remove a piece of upper clothing, BACK comes the pink bra. I appreciate the input from those that replied.

From what I understand, if someone makes an item of clothing, there are categories to check so it applies in the right group and one of those is "nude" and through the years I've downloaded an item here or there that started applying to my sim when nude and it was because of that. Isn't there a switch in WW that says "correct nude outfit" in the settings?

Yes, but this pink bra is a base game item, not a CC item. You can see the bra in the base game clothing list. Even if I was able to somehow delete this, the game would just put it back. And base game clothing won't show in utilities like Sims 4 Studio or Sims 4 Tray Importer, which allows categories to be selected. There's an "X" - supposedly to delete it....but it cannot be deleted. And yes, there is an option in WW to allow or disallow complete nudity, but only for the Sim to strip to underwear - which I have turned off.

I understand but some item in your mods folder has overridden the default bra's properties. That's the only way that what you're describing can be happening. Some custom content makers can get pretty loose with their tags and it can cause nightmares like what you are having. If you have a lot of custom clothing, it might be one of those items causing the trouble.

That is always checked by default in the WW Settings.  I looked and it was checked. I just reinstalled the game....again. No mods, other than WW. Used a base game Sim. So far, undressing hasn't had the pink bra show up.

As I had mentioned I had NO CC or Mods installed while testing the issue. Other than Wicked Whims. No Custom content, or other mods.

As an update, I think I may have this issue beat. I had completely uninstalled the game, then reinstalled it. Gradually adding in CC and mods and then testing the game, trying to see if the pink bra appeared. Then I grabbed several clothing CC (Bras, Panties, Makeup, etc) and put them in the game. The pink bra appeared. I removed all the CC I had just put in the game, and the bra disappeared. So far, so good. I have now started to add those items categories back one at a time until the issue appears again, then I'll have localized it so that a piece of CC is causing the problem. I'll then use the 50/50 method of adding back that category's items, until I locate the CC that's causing it. A lot of the CC, is quite dated, and either needs to be updated, or deleted.

It's always better to start your own thread regarding issues like you're describing. You'll have a much better chance of getting responses, since your issue is not related to the topic in the thread that I have been posting.

J'utiliserai ensuite la méthode du 50/50 pour réintégrer les objets de cette catégorie, jusqu'à trouver le contenu personnalisé fautif. Une grande partie de ce contenu est assez ancienne et doit être mise à jour ou supprimée.
