Anyway go crazy with whatever you plan to do with this game, I'm currently still in the beginning area and man I love this game, I hope denuvo doesn't limit what we could do with the game however. I don't expect skyrim animation mods any time soon(or not at all really, there's obviously no documentation available BUT the idea of an animation framework isn't impossible, it's been done on games other than Bethesda games without documentation before) but a nude mod for female NPCs and that one chick later(more plausible) in the game would honestly be cool to see. FromBeyondTime Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Looks like this game uses .paz files for the assets just like BDO, but it's still a different/updated engine so the old BDO tools for extracting data will most likely not work here. Couldn't find any communities that might be looking at this (it's still very early anyway), but I'm hoping some experienced modders will take a look. Denuvo might make it trickier to reverse-engineer. Fortunately we heard that Pearl Abyss isn't against mod support for Crimson Desert, but they just haven't had talks about it yet and they said they might discuss it after launch. 4
SleepyNinja Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 So from what I discovered so far every interior is enterable and every bed is usable... Holy shit the scale of this game. Basically it loads interiors when the game thinks you're going to enter the building. I was looking through an attic window that I couldn't enter but I saw in real time pop in furniture for the attic while I was still outside. The game usually hides this on small buildings with closed windows and doors but if you have a key you can enter these buildings. I was just at one of the manors where these maids were complaining about being on their feet all day, imagine if you can have them follow you to one of those fancy beds to relief their sore joints eh? A man can dream. 2

A man can dream. love the way you enter and exit building's in the game as well really hope any future patches the game has a option to just unequip the shield if i want though 1

All the female characters are completely covered up, only their hands and faces are visible. Literally, even the male characters wear less, it's ridiculous. I was hoping the armor here would look at least like in BDO, but apparently they decided to make exactly Zelda, so the content here is for 5-year-olds. I absolutely don't understand what 200k people are even doing in this game. 1

CD is also currently at its highest player-count on Steam (even higher than launch day and pretty close to Skyrim's all-time peak), so I think the game will be popular enough to attract even more genius modders to create the tools we need. Things are looking up. 10

I too have the Deluxe Edition and preordered. That is either (a) unreleased content or (b) as yet unfound content or (c) upcoming non-released content. 1

I was able to successfully mod a model, delete a texture, re-insert and test. The minor edit worked fine and appeared, so we're a go. I don't know enough about how these models work yet. In BDO there were a few shared bodies shared among multiple classes, and you had to rig to each specific body as far as outfits go. Its hard to read through shit due to censorship of Shai and Tamer mods by prudes deleting documentation. 11
