darkshot64 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 So I've tried creating different sounds to play during the sex scenes. While they do work, there seems to be a delay sometimes and other times the sounds seem to overlap. It seems as the animation starts there is a delay before I hear the sound. Then once the animation goes into the next stage The sound start to overlap. I'm not exactly sure how it works so perhaps someone with more experience could tell me how to handle this problem. Is there a certain format to follow? A certain length the sound clip should be?
Ashal Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 From stage 2 and onwards during an animation, the base SFX delay defined in the MCM menu is reduced by (Stage * 0.2) so the more stages there are in an animation the shorter the window between playing SFX. This is meant to simulate things "intensifying" as an animation progresses. There is a hard cap though, the SFX delay can't go below 0.50 seconds, but it is unlikely for something to reach that low. Using the default SFX Delay setting of 4 seconds: Stage 1: 4.0 seconds Stage 2: 3.6 seconds Stage 3: 3.4 seconds Stage 4: 3.2 seconds Stage 5: 3.0 seconds
darkshot64 Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 I figured if I had multiple sounds made, maybe I could figure out where the problem is. But now all the sounds play at almost the same time. I made the length of file "000, 001 and 002" as close to the the length of the original files as I could (I had to make sure they loop) but they still seem to play wrong. I just don't understand how this works.
