GSWoof Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I've been trying to mod the game to work for over 12h. When ever i try to start the game with pandora behaviours updated and OAR it instantly crashes. I've reached my limit of searching. Before i was able to start the game with 0 animations for Ostim playing but with updated behaviours it just doesnt play at all even a fresh save doesn't work. crash-2026-03-11-01-41-59.log
traison Posted March 11 Posted March 11 The issue with Pandora is that it causes Havok and behaviour file related crashes, so whenever you see crashes like these the first thing you should do is rebuild with FNIS and test again. In your case however, this crash was indirectly caused by OAR. There's an issue of some kind in processing Actors\Character\Behaviors\0_Master.hkx, which is related to humanoid actors (nords, orcs, elves, ...). The solution to these is usually to go through OAR rules and disable the ones that are prominent or triggering at or around the same time as the crash is occuring. Ostim in particular seems to have issues with OAR. If this doesn't work then I'd rebuild with FNIS as stated above.

Any idea why that might be? ;-;
traison Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Assuming Ostim isn't doing something that requires Nemesis/Pandora, then what was the output from FNIS? There can be no warnings or errors.

When using fnis i only had one issue due to still having FNIS Sexy move but the warning said something along the lines of "Detecting but not active. Disabling."
GSWoof Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 (I also wanted to say that I can't begin to thank you for helping me and the rest of community through the 12 hours yesterday i solved 9 issues thanks to what you were doing so far.) I also am trying to regenerate Pandora seperately into a new output folder as higher priority to check if that does anything.

Careful with this, because if you used the MO2 option to place all NEW files produced by a tool in a specific mod, it did literally that - files that already existed got overwritten in-place and will NOT be in your output mod. Personally I don't use this feature, as it's way way way too easy for it to go sideways. Pandora and FNIS overwrite the same files. You can run one after the other and whichever ran last is the one that is used. Nemesis is different since it only handles some of the files, hence the issue with creatures but that's another topic. Edit: And since that was probably not helpful since it doesn't answer the questio nof well how do you then get all files from a tool into a specific mod in MO2? In lack of better tools for this, I would use Process Monitor by Sysinternals (Microsoft). Move the files by hand afterwards. Edited March 11 by traison

For FNIS i make sure my overwrite folder is empty or semi empty and put it's output into a new mod aswell creating one with MO2 tool. Right now i am trying to check if it's an issue with a specific animation set that breaks the rest by doing the 50/50 until i find something that works perchance. Edit: Characters no longer stay in one place when used with bare minimum of Ostim they get in position but not move from those positions... i think that's progress...? I guess...? Edit 2: Slowly adding the animations it seems like it begins to work now it only starts in a mushed together but switch quickly to a regular position. Edited March 11 by GSWoof
GSWoof Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 I think i found also what is CTD my game when loading in a save. It looks like a problem with anub's animations of Ostim from Nexus. I'll check if i can get some of them to work later on since i gotta go to work.

I bet you could have these seemingly broken Anub animations installed if you remove OAR.
GSWoof Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 (edited) I got the game to work for a solid time but i noticed that after some time playing the save file gets semi corrupted. I can save and if i exit and reenter the game it runs like normal for a while before it happens again... I cannot load saves until i restart the game... .-. It usually makes all npcs stop reacting and makes it troublesome to talk to any. Edited March 13 by GSWoof

I forgot to properly install Engine fixes SKSE64 Preloader properly and was using outdated version. Suddenly i can access over 20k animations i had downloaded and other than game loading really slowly it starts. As for my corruption problems i didn't realise how much my mods impacted savefile size and i had to download SSE Engine Fixes- Save Corrupt Fix. Man it took way longer than i did years ago. That's what happens i guess when you take a break from modding a game for 5 years.
