quarzo Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Now that I see the NSFW scene is more advanced, I've decided to buy the game, but before installing it I want to gather information on what mods I should have. If I'm not mistaken, the main modules right now are: BG3SX (Sex Framework) BG3SX Defeat 2.0 BG3 Combat Sex Lewd Idles/Animations Any other things to consider?, including quality live mods. Another question that's got me confused is about the bodies in the game. If I understand correctly, we don't have body sliders, but rather presets, and the clothing in the game must be compatible with those presets. Are any body mods compatible with sex mods? Do you recommend any for the curvaseous/voluptuous type? some like.

The only conclusion I can come to is that Larian Studios might be good at producing games (haven't ever tried any of the Divinity games, but they seem to be doing fine), but made the genius cost-effective choice of reusing their same software stack from Divinity for BG3. This leads to... weirdness. Some of it is perhaps due to trying to better implement the current DnD system (like how copying spells into the spellbook arbitrarily costs gold instead of making a player carry extra supplies like ink and parchment because REASONS!) or that I guess nobody can read, so even the narrator has a voice... but hey, I can throw potions at my party members to heal them! Or have them hide and only therefore initiate combat for half my group because that half got seen even though they are standing right next to the hiding half... or just that autosave functionality works only half the time, but definitely not when I change maps... The point I'm trying to make is that you should try the game first before trying it with mods, not only to get a feel for how the game operates, but also to possibly appreciate for the first time how a smut mod might actually improve a game for once... 1

The same thing happened to me in the past with Skyrim. I played the vanilla version.... i uninstalled it after a few hours. Years later, with mods, the story changed. Baldur's Gate doesn't worry me since I played Neverwinter Nights saga back in the day, but I want to play it with mods from the very beginning, especially for the character bodies and quality live stuff. It's not the kind of game I feel the need to play without mods. my big question is at the moment if body shape mods what are in nexus are compatible with these nsfw mods. because what i find is these body mods have some years without update.

Dunno, Skyrim was also playable right out the box, BG3 barely has a box (the box basically just contained a slip of paper with a download code). Even now, with years of updates, it's still kinda wonky (although apparently at least playable, back half of the game was apparently basically unplayable on release... another reason to wait). As for whether stuff here is compatible with nexus stuff, probably. But the game's mod manager is also kind of a mess (another part that apparently wasn't included for release, so another good reason to wait), so dunno how easy integration is; too busy screaming at the game on vanilla to bother attempting mods for now. Unfortunately the sale on Steam is over, this game isn't worth what is being charged for it. Edited March 3 by ghostfalll
