Sliders are broken (not)

I've noticed that since the Feb 3 update any sliders that I could think of ceased to work properly. By that I mean that they reset to default whenever I jump back in the game. Especially the height sliders. Redheadsims, Mycroft Jr, old ones like GODJUL or simmythesim's ancient one, even Luumia's - all of them reset the height on reload, the only difference being that some of them might save the values for the active sim. On an unrelated note, I've noticed that since I've installed the update the autolight setting is reset every time my sim goes to another lot and back - so my guess is that there are some problems with the game itself.

Does anyone know what is going on? The closest thing to an explanation I found was a year old bug report that apparently is tied to the inability to change teens' height - but that can't be the culprit, since it's been so long.

 

EDIT: I must apologize. It was a false alarm triggered by a sim family I created half a year ago and kept importing it instead of making a new one. A new family works as intended (except for child height sliders, but I can live with that).

 

EDIT 2: I've found the culprit - those HQ feet were interfering and causing the played family's height to reset on game reload. On an unrelated note, there were reports of unwarranted shoe addition to sleepwear and swimwear outfits if they were installed.
