Same here, I updated FSMP to 3.0.4 and installed SMP Fixes 0.0.3beta for 3.0.0 but got freezes. (was just out of Bleak Falls Barrow, no issue until I went close to the fisherman next to the guardian stones, where it always freezes when the fisherman speaks)

Went back to FSMP 2.5.1 and SMP Fixes 0.0.3 Alpha and it did not freeze anymore.

Unfortunately there is nothing in my crashlogger since the game does not crash: the visuals are frozen but the music is working fine, I have to close the game from the task manager.

I am in exactly the same situation

yep me too, for me fsmp 3.0.4 and smpfixes 0.0.3beta for 3.0.0 and the game freezes (not a CTD, but a freeze, where the music is still going) whenever any character does an expression, i tried to change the avx to avx 2 in fsmp 3.0.4 and same issue.
seems to me like smpfixes for 3.0.0 is literally only meant for the 3.0.0 beta? like one of the versions on the github? because even the 3.0.0 on the nexus has the same issue - i hope im not misunderstanding anything but if someone has the correct FSMP 3.0.0dev version either link it or say what version it is on the github until a solution is found - eitherway, amazing mod and wonderful work from this dev ❤️
fyi there is a possiblity this might be related to conditional expressions or pc head tracking or something but i didnt test that out, if i do ill update

I use fsmp 3.0.4 and game freezes on load with ''smpfixes 0.0.3beta for 3.0.0''. I started new game to test if it was save related, and it lunched fine but after save/load the game froze in black screen again.

Smp fixes for 2.5.1 works with fsmp 3.0.4.

That wouldn't be logically possible. You most likely have 2.5.1 installed, overwriting FSMP's 3.0.4 dll

Yep I just checked and .dll was overwritten by 'SMP Armor scanning bugfix For SE 1.5.97', thank you I guess its time to clean up my mod list.

Now FSMP's 3.0.4 works with 'smpfixes 0.0.3beta for 3.0.0' maybe I even get ~5% extra performance nice.

Just updated this and the game freezed straight after the loading of a save. The reason was that I had the "HDT-SMP Slot 32 Fix" mod installed and similar fix is now included in the new FSMP 3.0.x version. So if anybody has this same problem, remove the "HDT-SMP Slot 32 Fix" mod. Also check that nothing else overwrites the dll file of FSMP. These are sometimes hard to notice if not mentioned anywhere.

Thanks that worked!

I still use SAM Light, SavrenX Schlong of SAM Light SE - Continuation and HDT-BBB for SAM with
High Poly Head SMP.
After installing this mod, I experienced crashes when launching the game, but after adding the Baka SOS SMP Patch, the game launches and everything works as it should. Thanks for this great mod.

Did not know that You were involved in Faster SMP as well.

Tried updating to 3.0.4 and saw instant FPS improvements.

Sadly it was not working with several SMP mods I have. Like SMP Wind for example.

But I was getting 10-15 FPS more and a lot less stutters in SMP filled locations.

For now going back to 2.5.0.

Said SMP mods wont work until authors update them. FSMP already has a wind module built in though that will be improved later.

I only used the separate SMP Wind mod because it seems to be better than the built in feature in Faster SMP.

Also use SMP cloaks that need to be updated.

Does the latest FSMP 3.0.4 include these fixes? Getting a CTD on loading a save with this mod. If the fixes aren't yet in the latest FSMP, with which version of FSMP 3.x.x this mod is compatible exactly?

SMP wind doesn't work for me on version 3.0.0+, i think the wind system on the new 3.0.0+ is better now. are you using the NG or the old one?
also i think the built in has better performance, correct me if i am wrong.

I use the one compatible with SE version 1.5.97.

Going back to FSMP 2.5 made it work again.

There is a pre-release of version 3.0.5 on github availibe. Runs atm pretty stable without using SMP Fixes 0.0.3beta for 3.0.0

Addon SMP Wind is deactivatd, I'm using the integrated wind module.

My question would be, is the SMP Fix 3.0.0beta usable on

1.) only 3.0.0beta version

2.) all beta versions

3.) all 3.0.x releases

Have same problem.

Tried start a new game, but it frooze at first popup.

I guess I have to wait to try this until more problems have been solved or more precise instructions have been given (SMP Head HPH or UBE 1.4 tells us to use latest FSMP and not 3.0.0).

Lmao that changelog is super wrong. We gotta quit getting AI to write it jesus.

Use the latest FSMP on Nexus, you can try the dev versions on github (Make sure they don't have co-pilot in the title, that's some co-pilot shit). SMP Fixes for FSMP 3.0.0 is compatible with all FSMP 3.0.0.

So far 100% of the people who have reported this were either using SMP Fixes for 2.5.1, or didn't actually have FSMP 3.0.4 installed. Do not install that 32SlotFix mod, and make sure nothing is overwriting FSMP.

If you're still crashing, send the log here from Crashlogger SSE

So far, I have used SMP-Fixes-Alpha-0.0.3 successfully with several 3.x FSMP versions up until and including 3.0.4. Now after having installed FSMP 3.0.5, I get a CTD when loading a save file. I can load the save file when disabling SMP-Fixes. This is the first part of the crash log:

Use Crashlogger sse, not that crappy one.

Make sure you use "SMP-Fixes-0.0.3 - for - FSMP 3.0.0-Beta.zip" not "SMP-Fixes-0.0.3 - for - FSMP 2.5.1.zip

Thank you for your response and all your work! Much appreciated!

You are right. I still had the SMP-Fixes-0.0.3 - for - FSMP 2.5.1. Now with the SMP-Fixes-0.0.3 - for - FSMP 3.0.0-Beta, no CTD anymore :-)

Hey asdt123123,

Can You confirm that SMP cloaks/capes will tank FPS by 20-40 FPS in areas like Solitude.

According to Google AI it is known that Artesian Capes aka Cloaks of Skyrim SMP will tank FPS if used on all in the world.

From reading on the mod site plenty seems to have big FPS loss with the cloaks.

Even on a Intel I9-13900K CPU set to AVX2.

Will upgrading to FSMP 3.0 have an effect on these FPS drops?
