Abuisive_big_brother Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Not sure if I'm using the correct directory here, if its wrong lmk I'll move it to the right one just lmk. Now onto my issue. One, I broke my game and I'm unsure if and or how to fix it. But assuming I can obtain what I'm looking for I can probably download a fresh backup folder or something to fix the original files. Two, my only small successes. I managed at some point to get sexlabs, frameworks and defeat to work. But then broke it catastrophically. The game is unplayable. Three, Ok, put simply I'm fucking stupid or something. So I cannot for the absolute life of me get this shit right. Dose anyone have a mod pack or list of mods and load order to that I can simply download or follow step by step. Aka a pre built mod pack and load order list. I have a gaming laptop top, so specs are { 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7-7700HQ Quad-Core 16GB of DDR4 RAM | 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD 15.6" 1920 x 1080 Anti-Glare IPS Display NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU (6GB GDDR5 } Not sure if it matters probably dose cuz I want graphic mods. I've run modern warfare 2019 as my most graphically aggressively game. It did run even if my laptop didn't like it. And no, it didn't crash... somehow lol. Four and final, what I'm looking to ultimately achieve. Sex mod, defeat, creature, graphic upgrade preferred nice models, environment isn't needed but appreciated. Extra sex animations. If anyone knows where I can buy or get a something like this please lmk. Personal note.. I'm so tired of trying to figure this out, it feels like it just randomly says I'ma work. Then says I'm missing mods or just straight up T-poses and then corrupts. And I just don't understand why as it happens without change. I used mod organizer 2 once I started getting more then like 5 mods and vortex before that.
JimUpdating Posted February 21 Posted February 21 rather than the core/gpu, what may be tripping you up is version of skyrim. When you start skyrim normally, are you in Skyrim 1.5.97 (SE version) or 1.6.1170 (AE version) or the older Limited Edition (LE). Currently your posting in the default / LE version of Skyrim support, but if you're downloading Skyrim from Steam then you are probably running 1.6.1170. The scripts that enable Skyrim to to do so much more like SexLab are version specific. key thing - go slow, expect that it is about a half day of checking stuff as you load mods. remember, mods were put together by different casual authors, not by a company that did DLC testing. Things will break - a lot of mods I like need Fuz ro D'oh, but Fuz ro D'oh excludes Mantella, or did a year ago. Given that NSFW skyrim will be very personalised (hetero - bi - homo)(vanilla - kinky - devious bdsm)(consensual - defeat - Slaverun)(vanilla - dragons)(vanilla - vore)(vanilla - hentai tentacles), the prebuilt nexus collections are going to be the hetero vanilla options. For base skyrim, make certain you have something to skip the Helgen intro, and starts in a quiet cell in Skyrim to check everything working. So USSEP and Alternate Start-Live Another Life from Nexus. Start Skyrim, check that you can move around, and talk to the statue to select that you have a house like Breezehome, and check that you can walk around Whiterun. Assuming you are in Skyrim AE 1.6.1170, now add the background/script mods from the SKSE section of Start Skyrim, check that you can move around, and talk to the statue to select that you have a house like Breezehome, and check that you can walk around Whiterun. Now install a suitable body. For a default, go with CBBE for female and TNG/Himbo for male Start Skyrim, check that you can move around without t-posing, and talk to the statue to select that you have a house like Breezehome, and check that you can walk around Now install FNIS 7.6 XXL SE/AE and an animation skeletion to set up all the new animations. Inside the Skyrim AE guide, go to the Physics section, and get all the XP32 Skeleton mods. Select gender specific and skeleton arm fix, and Run FNIS, and check that it says that everything is ok. The number of times people have issues as an animation pack is LE not AE... Start Skyrim, check that you can move around without t-posing, and talk to the statue to select that you have a house like Breezehome, and check that you can walk around Whiterun and that everything can move and isn't t-posed. Now install SexLab and SL Eager NPCs and SL Animation Loader. You will need to rerun FNIS as SexLab has added some basic animations. Start Skyrim, check that you can move around without t-posing Go into the MCM, and in SL Animation Loader (SLAL) enable and register all the animations. Go into the MCM and in SL-Eager NPCs check that it has a hot key to trigger a solo animation check that the hot key can trigger something in the game. For defeat, there are several variations that have emerged over the years. Yamete has more of a framework, others have different issues on how to check that an opponent (or the player character) are defeated. At this point, I'd suggest that when you start skyrim, you select the Falkreath home, and head to Riverwood. There's the bandit camp and the mine to check Defeat is working correctly, and then when you get the Creatures going there are normally some wolves between the mine and Riverwood. Or head into the draugr crypt.

I can check when I'm home if you need me to. Secondly. Should I move/repost in the correct directory? I thought I selected se, but I seem to have made a mistake on that. Third, I never got creature framework to properly register, sometimes it would recognize it. Other times it wouldn't, it felt random. Lastly my game last I looked was in a state of absolute unplayability, t posing when it did load, and crashing about 80% of the time. Fresh install never worked and only crashed 100% aka why I had finally given up, but with more free time lately I want to try again, my thought Is to install fresh on a new PC, replace directory files if need be. Or if I have to I I now how a stronger actual PC. As well as my laptop I used for many more NSFW games and mods. But none the less I have resources to retry is my point. Forgive me if I missed anything I have retyped this reply 9 times as I kept changing apps to dubble check information to reply to you..and the site kept reloading for some reason.
JimUpdating Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I'd check the version. If from steam, it will try to do the latest version (AE, 1.6.1170). If you have 1.5.97 from steam, either you need to have last used the game back in 2021 and set the appmanifest_489830 file to read only, or if you did a more recent install you would have needed to open the steam console for text commands, and used the download_depot command, and then set the appmanifest_489830 file to read only. So if that last paragraph was just a load of wtf jargon, I'd expect 1.6.1170, and that might be the cause of issues if some of the mods are for 1.5.97. For the papyrus scripts and dll files, the different version of Skyrim is like being in a dark room, and thinking you know where things are, and suddenly finding everything in the room has been rearranged. Skyrim might start, but will crash as soon as one of the scripts hits the wrong bit of memory. For absolute confirmation, if you can get to the Steamapps/common/SkyrimSpecialEdition directory, or search for SkyrimSE.exe in file explorer, then you can right click on the SkyrimSE.exe and get to properties. On the details panel, it will tell you Skyrim, Application, version something, and I will guess 1.6.1170. Alternatively, if you can get skyrim to start, once you are in the game you can press ESC and look at the bottom left of the menu screen. So I'd guess you will need a clean install, by deleting everything in the Steamapps/common/SkyrimSpecialEdition. You don't want any of the wrong version mods lurking, and a Steam reinstall might just ignore the lurking files. the big resources are going to be the AE guide I posted above, and tasairis's compatibility tracker, and the skyrim SE/AE support threads https://www.loverslab.com/forum/73-technical-support-skyrim-special-edition/

While doing so it has replaced repaired reinstalled. Yet for whatever reason even when loading off a a brand-new install it simply wont launch. As for the version, I remember needing to run a older version using the drop down on top left due to file unavailablily. As most file links where dead or removed. It may take me a while as I have a tendency to procrastinate, but I will touch back once I get the game to run in a stable vanilla version.
JimUpdating Posted February 24 Posted February 24 it doesn't launch from Steam as base Skyrim? or it doesn't launch when MO2/Vortex tries to launch (and assumes there is SKSE)? the older version on the dropdown at top left - I have no idea which application this is in, are you talking about Steam, or MO2/Vortex?
