slightlydecent Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Hey everyone, I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find the answer to my question in the FAQs. I may have missed it. I'm new to modding my game and up till now, I have only really downloaded and installed mods with the Nexus mod manager (Read: I know how to point and click, that's about it). Could someone tell me or point me in the right direction of installing the sexlab mod (and any subsequent mods I may need)? Also, will the few mods I have from the nexus MM work well with the mods I get here? The mods I already have in nexus MM are: ApacheHair SkyUI AP Skyrim and SKSE Any suggestions of mods I should get with Sexlab? Thanks in advance!
flutie Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 it is simple, download the mods you want, but leave them in zip fromat, put them in a directory of your choice, mine is c/games/skyrim/mods. cut and paste mods in your directory, open NMM, on the mods page, you will use the top button, Add Mods From File, click this, then navigate to your mods directory, click on the mod, then open. this will add the mod to the unassigned category of NMM, after that just install it like a nexus mod. Suggested mods: lovers comfort, spouses enhanced, sexlab solutions, sexlab aroused and aroused animations, hentai prgnancy, hentai child plugin and any of the others, sexlab defeat and submit are good also, hope that helps Dump AP, sexlab is so much better
Srende Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Use the "add mod from file" button in NMM to add the mods manually downloaded from here to NMM and then install them normally.
slightlydecent Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 Thanks guys. Going to try it out now.
TnTTnT Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Beside FAQ, did you read this? http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25219-getting-started-with-sexlab-how-to-install-sexlab-and-its-requirements/
slightlydecent Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 Hello again. I was able to install the mods suggested with NMM. Thanks TnTTnT, I ran across that page after I posted. Sorry about that. My only problem now is that the animations won't initiate. Everything else works: UI promps, MCM, SFX, texures. However, when a scene is initiated, animations won't start. My Load Order: FNISspells.esp SexLab.esm LoversComfort.esp SexLabAroused.esm SOS- Core.esm ApachiiHair.esm SkyUI.esp SexLabDefeat.esp Brawl bugs ce.esp SOS.esp SOS-Vectorplexus muscular Alternate Start- live another life Racemenuplugin.esp RaceMenu.esp SpousesEnhanced.esp If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. Thanks guys!
TnTTnT Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 This is not full load order, I believe. Check in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Skyrim\loadorder.txt You have install FNI behavior, creature support, spell and run generateFNIforuser already right?

Thanks guys! If that's your actual load order . . . esp's never come before esm's For that use BOSS http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6/? For checking for missing dependencies and other things TES5Edit http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? SOS can be downloaded from the Nexus or from here at Loverslab, the download from the Nexus doesn't work as well as the one from here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/23944-sos-schlongs-of-skyrim/ General game stability can be had by using the Unofficial Skyrim Patches: Skyrim http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19/? Dawnguard http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23491/? Hearthfire http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25127/? Dragonborn http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31083/? Hi Resolution DLC http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31255/? A good place for the new to modding group to read up on safe modding practice is S.T.E.P. http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:Guide Careful, the S.T.E.P. hasn't been updated for some of the newer releases, but works well. Lastly, for the sex mods, the General and Technical Help forums here are second to none. Enjoy.
slightlydecent Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 Thanks guys for your replies. It's greatly appreciated. Sorry for not commenting sooner, I was at work. @TnTTnT I installed FNIS mods first. But I don't think I ran the generateFNIforuser. I looked up the file on my computer and couldn't find it, so maybe that's my problem. Should I delete FNIS and re-install? @judge0 I took your advice and downloaded the BOSS and I'll download the TES5Edit in a few minutes. I'll get back to you guys this evening. Thanks again!
slightlydecent Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 So TnTTnT called it. I had to go and run the generateFNIforuser program and now everything works. I told you guys I was a newb, hehe. I want to thank you guys for being nice and helpful. I appreciate it!
