Better vampires turned NPC "change appearance", odd situation.

For anyone that doesn't know the mod Better vampires allows you to turn pretty much any NPC into a vampire. Now if you have the option set for their appearance to change and you are using custom textures, etc, etc they will get the dark head bug. This has bugged me about BV for as long as I've been using it, not realizing I hadn't set the option to NOT change appearance I turned an NPC and noticed something strange, her head color didn't change and she had glowing eyes :D I was excited to say the least! But upon exiting the city, BAM dark head bug was in affect:(. I tested this much more, infecting various NPC's and the only thing that would change is their eyes would glow( which is all I ever wanted ). Leaving the area with them would cause the dark head bug, waiting for a few in game hours would cause the bug, saving and reloading would cause it, etc.

The only thing I could think that might have affected this to work at least for a bit is the apachiNPC hair overhaul mod and its color mismatch fix? I'm not tech savvy enough to investigate further. So I guess my question is if anyone has a suggestion I can use to get this to work permanently on changed NPC's( have them keep glowy eyes w/o burnt head )?

try using the console and click on the npc and tpye setNPCweight xx xx can be any value like 50 or 100 etc.. does her head color change back ??

Yeah, I'd console "snpcw 100" then leave the cell and come back. It should be fixed then. If so then great, but it's a kinda' sloppy way to have to do it.

I remember using the console set weight trick before but I don't think it saves? Meaning you have to do it every time you load your game. Did a lot of reading last night so let me ask would exporting all the facegen data stop the dark head bug from happening when I turn someone?

Ok I tried this, it corrects them only while in whatever cell we are in. If I leave and come back or load their head is back to not matching.
