Following thread - Stop notifying updates - not working

I go on "Content I Follow", click on "Change", select "Stop notifying me of updates", click on "Update selected" and yet I still get a notification every time some posts in said thread.

Does that "Stop notifying me of updates" only works on Downloads? I want to use the "Content I follow" functionality as kind of a bookmark, it doesn't seem to work with threads, though.

For threads you will only stop getting notification if you stop following the thread completely.

 

I had the same issue and it only went away when I choose to stop following the thread entirely.

 

The update option is only for download pages.

Do what I do for may of the threads that I might want to keep an eye on.

 

I post something in that thread.

 

"Love your work"

"Great idea"

"keeping an eye on this project"

Etc.

 

Then go to your "Content" . Check for sort in "Last Update Time"  etc. You will be able to see what has been responded to for months.

 

I only use what you used for those threads I absolutely need to follow up on and keep track of.
