Unspairing Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) I genuinely appreciate this site, especially since its early days as a dedicated portal for "too spicy" Skyrim mods on Nexus. However, with the inclusion of The Sims, I’ve noticed that the volume of new and updated mods has overwhelmed my brief searches, leading me to rely solely on categories. This situation presents a challenge, there seems to be a noticeable bias towards Bethesda games, while other titles like Mount and Blade: Bannerlord, Kenshi, and various Paradox games receive insufficient attention. For example, the only recognition for Paradox games appears in the "Other" category, despite a interest in modding adult content into Stellaris as compared to Starfield and there is no category for Kenshi or Bannerlord. I believe it is important for LL to represent the diverse world of adult modding more comprehensively. Currently, the navigation system can feel like a maze for mod creators and users alike. Why would a mod maker invest time in crafting an adult mod for Mount and Blade: Bannerlord if potential users must navigate through numerous categories to find it? I ask that LL streamline the categories and navigation on the site. Perhaps an option to filter out games like The Sims from the "What's New" and "Updated" sections would help better curate the experience for all users. Thank you for considering these improvements! I just woke up, got my drink and while scanning this site for responses or the need to respond, I see this. Go try this at MATY (More Awesome Than You) Have a good day.
flutie Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Fo4 did not have a section, it was not until mod authors decided to go into overdrive, that it got its own section, Bethesda games modding is more popular than the games mentioned, hence their own section. If modding any games mentioned, Ashal would take the appropriate actions. But the biggest issue is cost, expanding or improving search functions cost money. And besides, not slandering any games mentioned, Bethesda modding is where the most money is generated, clicks and visits by users. On the nexus mount blade only has 2k mods, Skyrim se 72.7 k, big difference. LL does rep all games on the platform, Bethesda is at the forefront because of volume 5
