Wicked Seed, Potential modding.

Saw this randomly show up on steam and it just came out today. 
Seems to be made in unity, kinda just looks like an asset flip but it does seem like there's actually some effort put into it and the reviews/steam discussion board seem to think it's good.  
I haven't played it myself, I might buy it when I get paid, but thought I could bring it to some people's attention. 
Could maybe scratch that Killing Antidote itch for some people looking for other games like it (except this is a turn based RPG since it's heavily inspired by Parasite eve 1)

Yea, bought the game because I was interested in more Parasite Eve-likes. But hoping for a mod for it.

Played the demo of this one for over an hour and decided it was a good enough game to want to buy it without lewd mods.  But still hoping the fellow pervs here can whip up some gold.

I'm a Unity developer and love to mod Unity projects but this game uses 2022.3.62f2 which gives me DX chainswap errors so I can't rip the project and install it into Unity since I can not use that version of Unity. I use 2021, 2018 for most of my projects/mods and have only modified assetbundles in the past (for 2018.9.1f specifically) mostly but 2021+ don't seem to use assetbundles.

I'm loading the project right now in assetstudio to see what we are dealing with, I imagine the mesh will be fully nude from the fact you can see her underwear under one of her skirt outfits. I could try to rip the project and load it into Unity 2021 but I don't know if it will even load, but I will probably end up trying that since I want to get a nude mod made for this game. It's a really fun game actually and I am not sure where the assets came from because nothing looks like it is from any other game, it isn't a mish mash of assets, it looks like they actually modeled the entire game themselves. This isn't even a Daz character even though she looks like one. All meshes have a consistency to them that makes it look like they were all designed for the same project. I don't recognize anything from any other game or Unity package and the more I play the more I'm impressed with how well made this game is.

I guess what I'm asking is if someone can help me with how to get a nude mod back into Unity these days, do people use bepinex or what would I want to use if I can't rely on an assetbundle? I can't find many guides for Unity 2022 and how to add mods to a game without mods.

This thing has taken over an hour to load into assetstudio, once it does I'll post screenshots of the mesh and other clothing items.

Anyone have experience modding Unity 2022 and could help me with what I need to do? Updating the mesh won't be a problem in Blender or 3DSwrap if needed, it will be getting it back into Unity. I'll use UnityRipper if assetstudio fails and try to load the project into Unity 2021 but not hopeful it will be helpful since ripping Unity games still gives you lots of broken scripts/files that can't recompile/modify the game fully, so maybe there are easier ways to get a file back into Unity these days (assuming bepinex or another injection method)

I hope I'm missing something, and this is a lot easier of a process than I am assuming it is these days because this game needs a nude mod.

If it is a texture mod, a mesh replacement, whatever is needed I just need to be able to get it back into the game.

I suppose I was wrong, she is from character creator as there are multiple CC / reallusion related files in the files.

I guess based on that some of the environments could be from CC as well, I am a Daz user not a CC user (tried it a few months ago and could not really find the benefits for myself but it seems CC characters are probably better than Daz ones for these type of games since the mesh is far lower poly. 22k vert whereas Daz girls will have like 150k brows.

Anyways, here is the mesh exported and in Blender. I didn't use the merged FBX with actual UVs and separated the UV islands into their own textures to make it look correct since it was just a 1 material obj per item and you can see the mesh is created making it difficult to mod easily.

Maybe someone should Try and use one of the bikini outfits to make a nude mesh file and Mod, however whoever does crack it please add Pubic hair stubs not just a line but a soft patch above her vagina, i and like many adult Mod downloaders Love a Gal with hair between there

same with the scarlet outfit. was able to verify by removing the clothes using shadertoggler, just missing body textures

In case anyone's interested, I know they're not great since it's my first time using Unity. I usually work with Unreal. It's very simple: just the body without clothes and the modified .png. The problem is that the body lacks nipples; it's the original and looks weird and "flat." I still don't know how to import a mesh into Unreal.

I've updated the mod; now it's only in the starting costume, naked, but with better texture on the nipples.

It looks great! But the nipples are personally far too pale if that can be adjusted

New mod update:
- Attempted texture improvements for the default costume and the Killer costume (with and without panties). Unfortunately, since I don't know how to import the mesh, it's still a .png file, but the Normal version has been modified to mimic the texture.

- I've uploaded a mod that prevents Ella from losing her nipples or vagina when she sweats, gets dirty, or takes damage. Recommended for use with the Killer costume.
