Slave Tats 3D Viewer (Godot)

View File

This allows you to view and add non-overlapping slave tats to create a preset or a merged image.

Uses Godot

The following functions are of note:

  • Apply 1/10 random non-overlapping tats
  • Apply all possible non-overlapping tats
  • View only non-overlapping tats
  • Remove last 1/10 or all tats
  • Export as merged image
  • Export as preset

My other mod let's you load the preset:

I find Slave Tats kind of annoying to use so I actually usually have them disabled, but saw this and decided to tested it out.  Getting the program to run was pretty straightforward (install in MO2 as a mod, enable it, then add the executable in MO2 in the same vein as SKSE/BodySlide/Pandora/etc.).

In the actual program itself, I think having an option to adjust the camera sensitivity/speed would be very helpful, as currently actually rotating/moving/panning the preview is EXTREMELY slow.  Also the lighting could probably be increased a bit, as it seems quite dark.  Which also deals with the next point, which is that some tattoo textures are of a color (light gray) that actually becomes hard to see.  If the lighting could be adjusted it would be helpful, and if the color of the tattoos themselves could be adjusted (like in-game) it would be even better, though that might require substantially more effort.

Also, when I tested (with quite a few tattoo packs enabled), clicking the "add 1 non-overlap" and "add 10 non-overlap" buttons resulted in all 4 buttons in the Overlap tab becoming grayed out, while nothing actually happening on the preview model.  It didn't seem like it was waiting on anything to happen either, as I could still move/rotate the model, and add/remove tats from the left side list.

doesnt seem to be working...

I have the same problem, installed it manually with the correct folder hierarchy, but the tats won't show up when running the .exe from the tools folder (or from any other folder for that matter

I came to echo the comments regarding a way to adjust the brightness and the slow panning myself. It's a really useful tool that could be outstanding with just a few (hopefully from a code perspective) minor tweaks.

Feature request: In case of an invalid entry in the json, print the file and line that the parser choked on in addition to the dictionary entry.

Mine is working fine until I click Export.  after I click export, the left pannel where you do selection basically becomes unresponding, but the right panel the menu still updates, and you can drag and rotate the model, right panel does not feel laggy at all.

I Checked the overwrite folder, and images/presets do save to the correct folder, but the problem is now the left panel is stuck, if I were to make multiple tats, I have to close the program, make 1, close the program again, rinse and repreat.  What could be the culprit here?

1 more question:  What's the difference between exporting Preset or Image?    They both generate and only generate one same  .dds file to my overwrite folder, same size, same image when viewing.
