He is actively working on that now. His mods will be more modular and allow you to choose what you want to include. I think only his Arcane is like that so far. The rest will follow.

efmi_skin_editor.zip I made a crude python tool that I've been using since launch to do this. Ignore the 3D model section, just click the button to toggle to textures  (I couldn't get it to work right and haven't had time to dig into it) and then find the skin texture to edit in the list. Please forgive me as this was my first real foray into python

First of all, most likely your mod have incorrect index and hash. That is what dev loves to change with every patch. Hashes goes to TextureOverride and index belongs to drawindexedinstanced. Where to get them? Well, easiest way is to download any free fixed mod from gamebanana for corresponding character and check it ini for index and hash.

 

If your mod breaks into bunch of formless and infinite lines, that is most likely lod problem. Check mod's lod structure closely maybe it's using obsolete lod function or declared lods incorrectly.

 

Sometimes there is some unusual errors. For example 7WEI's mod was missing CommandList_Draw_Component11 which results in Surtur missing eyelashes and eyebrows. Why it was missing? Idk. But expirience helps you to check corresponding dds textures and components to track culprut.

 

Also if you are getting into fixing mods you don't really need paid mods once you have free version. Because what's usually difference between them? Removing layers of clothing - that is what you can do yourself by tweaking ini.

Just a little update: it's almost impossible to recover the server, so we've been rebuilding a new one from scratch since day one. I think the server's structure will be finished within the next 1–2 days, and then we'll rebuild the community together.

Maybe some of you thought we didn't have the courage to start over, but it's actually the opposite. We care deeply about this community, and we want it to keep enjoying modding alongside us. We’re not giving up.

Edit: Everything is going well, and we're mostly in the phase of posting as many mods as possible while we still have the motivation. After that, it'll be up to the community to take over. We're delaying the opening a little bit for now.

Finally some good news.
I don't think rebuilding would be that difficult since, I guess, many users have mods backupped locally

May I ask if you understand the detailed reasons as to why your server was banned under copyright  and what will you do differently going forward to reduce the chances of it happening again?

Arcane mode only so for, we have been told other will be updated to have same system

Considering the previous server got nuked without warning, what's the reason for rebuilding everything using the same platform? Granted it is one of the best platforms for live interaction, I hope the new server will have a better archival system in place in case this happens again. I would expect this second server could also be deleted without warning again.

How can you know if I'm the real Mugen? Once you join the server (when it's open), you'll immediately know. I've also been sharing information since day one on other forums; I just wanted to provide some updates in each game's forum as well.
 

I understand that some people may have questions, but I'll try to be transparent without necessarily giving other modders ideas once the new server is up. I ask everyone to be patient and understanding. We won't be changing platforms; we'll simply adapt.

Good luck with that, the Safe Zone was one if not the best server on discord for mods.
