deathtome1998 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I scrolled cursorily through the guide I could find, but they all seem to be from at most 2014 for what I could find, so I was wondering if there's a newer guide than that? and since MO2 is what all my bethesda game modding experience is with, I was wondering how well it really works with oblivion? is there anything special that needs done to install OMOD's? I know it works just fine with skyrim and fallout 4's FOMOD's, but I've never used an OMOD as the last time I played oblivion I was still an owner of a new-ish xbox 360 I played it on. and after buying it on steam, I still haven't modded it and gone back to playing it ever.

What's the new user manual for? Mod installations? *Just install them by date (to avoid conflicts, if there are overlaps in the content of these mods, which one do you need more from a particular mod) *OMOD is simply an archive of a specific OMOD program *I use (sometimes) VrayBash (same as MO2) ** Actually, I just pack everything in BSA and specify the download in plugins.txt ** C:\Users\idi2\AppData\Local\Oblivion **

I had been wondering if there happened to be any that were more up to date with whatever the current modding standards for oblivion. I've never ended up modding oblivion, so I was looking for whatever guide I could find to help. if the one's from the early to mid 2010's are still ok to use and relevant I can try to follow them.
s1kylar Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Okay, now I'm actually struggling to figure out how the hell to organize different games with MO2. When creating a global instance, I see all of my New Vegas mods on my Oblivion load order... and it seems it doesn't automatically save which ones I had enabled or disabled, so I have to manually make sure I have the right mods enabled each time, and reconfigure load order each time. Tedious, seems dumb it works this way. Seems most people just have an entirely separate download of mo2 for each game and use portable instances instead. Seems like a redundant workaround but if it works I guess... what do you do?
mma75online Posted February 16 Posted February 16 for Oblivion I'm using ( Oblivion Mod Manager ) its easy & simple ... For a Guide to Oblivion installation & Mods fejeena Oblivion Guide is the best.
Count Chocula Posted April 12 Posted April 12 (edited) MO2 works fine with Oblivion, for me, anyway. Seems to me the only reason to use OMM is because that's what a person is used to and comfortable with. Edited April 12 by Count Chocula
