Something screwy with my feet and hands

I recently re-did my mods and after trying to get back in a new game I noticed that my Hands and Feet look weird. The hands are discolored and the feet have a funky line through them. I'm sure this is due to loading something in the wrong order or forgetting something. Any ideas?

I had that exact same thing happen to me before. It was caused by changing textures (or maybe even race, but can't remember which/both). Anyway, I put a whole different texture on my characte (Navetsea Seamless) then put my customized SG back on then it was fixed. It seems the texture I was using wasn't doing anything for the vanilla feet for some reason?

I would say the causes could be thus,

 

The question is are you fully nude and this is happening check following:

 

Could be you've used a mod that changes the body alone and not replaced the hands and feet to match, or if you've done this manually yourself or used a mod that only replaces one part. Could also be caused by hands and feet not having weight properties or perhaps it's the body was never weighted. The mod was only meant to be stuck with 0% body weight or 100% or whatever and so the other parts will not increase in mass as you change your curvyness.

 

If your wearing an item that is linked to a certain weight and that it was never configured for the hands or feet clipping occurred, that cap. I.e. your wearing something that belongs to a body yours is unsupported for. UNP body wearing a CBBE armor or item of wear as e.g.

 

Your using a custom race that uses different paths for some odd reason and uses different body bits from different locations, highly unlikely but never say never! Also having a custom race, the files it would use would all need to have matching meshes and textures if it uses it's own custom folder. Same applies to a half arsed follower mod too.

 

The discolor would usually be none matching textures for the hands to the body. You'll need to use a mod that has a full body texture replacement and hopefully not any or many seam issues that are in your face bad that you wouldn't normally notice unless with a magnifier glass.

 

Other than that it would be to someone else's expertise...

I had to drill down until I uninstalled pretty much all cosmetic mods. The issue was still there so I finally narrowed it down to the Enhanced Character Edit mod. I think it replaced something in the skeleton that made things go bonkers. Anyways, issue resolved now. =)

Yeah, with ECE. I was playing a character as a ygNord race (comes with ECE) and changed to regular Nord. That's when my weird feet showed up (as well as hand and neck seams). Changing textures twice was what fixed it for me.
