Kurz darauf sehe ich nur einen roten Punkt mit einem weißen Strich in der Mitte. Könnt ihr mir bitte helfen, das Problem zu beheben, damit es wieder läuft? Well then – should we just guess? Or would you prefer we "drag all the information out of you"? That's right – we need information to help you! 1) Which Skyrim version do you have? (LE, SE, or AE) 2) Which mods do you have installed? 3) Does the term "SKSE" or "Script Extender" mean anything to you? – Because without it, or rather the correct version, a modified Skyrim won't start! 4) Which mod organizer are you using? – Mod organizers can detect if, for example, "master" files for an installed mod are missing! Now it's your turn!

Es ist nur schon lange her, dass ich das alles wieder machen musste. Mein alter PC ist kaputtgegangen, und ich habe gerade erst wieder angefangen, in dieses Spiel einzusteigen. Ich habe einiges vergessen. I can only judge you by how and what you write here... I don't have a crystal ball to magically see my "counterpart" from afar. I'll offer some help for self-help - take a look at this tutorial... you don't have to follow it step by step or use it as an installation guide... but it will help you discover what you might be missing from your mod list. Current mods for "Skyrim SE" are developed for the more recent After Effects version... and therefore there are compatibility issues. These can be circumvented with the help of tools (like "BEES") - but so far I'm still guessing due to the lack of information.

You have mess of LE, SE and obsolete mods. You are using MO2 but have somehow managed to install the mods outside MO2 2

I agree – my recommendation: Reinstall Skyrim. What will the source be? If Steam, then it's the latest Advanced Eraser version -> 1.6.1170. I wouldn't "downgrade" this to the Special Edition version (1.5.97). With this clean, vanilla version, I would follow the instructions I linked to... I strongly recommend doing so now! Once you have a stable Skyrim with SexLab enabled, get back in touch so we can help you choose and install other mods.

Don't just use Steam to remove the Game, Steam will remove only files that it provided You with 1) Go to Your Steam Apps and delete entire Skyrim folder 2) Go back to Steam and prompt it to delete Skyrim - Since Skyrim is already deleted (Step 1) it should be instant 3) Start from zero... You may want to talk with ppl on Discord first and seek for help... Cuz I bet u gonna fuck that up again... honestly I have never seen before Skyrim setup so bad... You dont want to use Vortex, use MO2 ONLY, delete Vortex, MO2 is more forgiving as its building VFS ( Virtual File System ) It actuallhy hijacks Kernel to fool Skyrim into false thinking where files are, which is good because You can install mods without having them directly inside Your file directory of Your game... Then make sure that You have correct mods for Your game... You will want to download mods only that says either: "AE" or says that its "1.6.xxx" version SE -> 1.5.x AE -> 1.6.x Despite it saying "SE" on the Steam its currently "AE" You technically can do Downgrade with: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57618 Which will put Your game back to 1.5.97 but You dont really want to do it these days... There is still few quirks that if You dont know what Youre doing then even MO2 not gonna save You... like for example allowing any random mod ( SexLab Framework ) overwrite PapyrusUtil scripts... so u always want to keep important DLLs at the highest priority But well... explaining You everything from the current level is going to be quite... difficult... use MO2 and try to learn via Try and Error, MO2 will allow You to install mods and delete them safely without reinstaling ur game all the time... like Vortex forces You to if u fucked up ur setup so badly like You did...
BDNelson Posted October 29, 2025 Posted October 29, 2025 Yes, I agree, dump Vortex and use ONLY MO2 for your mod management, at least for the Bethesda games anyway. You'll get a lot farther in modding that way. 1
