no, its was not, in the first week of WuWa we had a lot of mods like "hide UI" and "transparency" and a lot of models too

it is technically possible to use but would require substantial work and is not in any way worthwhile. Wuthering waves also should not be using it since pak modding is and has for the entire duration of the game's lifecycle been easily doable but the agmg boneheads gaslit everyone into thinking anything but their way is a guaranteed ban

pisses me off how fast some of you guys work. I've had this game and the models since feb and never got around to finishing

 

 

Anyway for those of you worried about the longevity of modding I recommend you buy their skins. And mod tf out of those but do actually spend money on the game. There's no actual anticheat other than ingame server sided code which is really the proper way to do this and we've just been bullied and manipulated into accepting outrageous things like kernel drivers in single player games

So there are some answers from discord server  anime game modding group  that is main group using 3dmigoto. Both tool developers and mod users have very little interest in this game one of the main problem another come rewriting all the tools to make it work at all its hell. same with taking care when it broke and and use resources to repair.Then problem are also with models in blender and  taking it back into the game. And those are just a few of the problems they listed. Some modders will eventually get to it we just have to wait.

i had no issue... it's just normal UE4 game... no need for 3DMigoto

its long overdue that people stop treating that server as any kind of reliable information source. They have no knowledge of anything outside their niche and even that they don't know how to modify or replicate the actual code of 3dmigoto and treat it like some holy scripture that only few can interpret. they know hlsl and d3d11 pipeline stuff fairly well but the actual changes theyve been able to make to the C++ side of 3dmigoto are extremely limited and basically seem to be achieved by just trial and error with no meaningful feature enhancements and they've shown complete misunderstanding of what 3dmigoto actually does and mistakenly believed its different from other hacking programs. This was already apparent but now that people are getting banned for using their newer version of the dll in genshin and theyve come up with no solution except rolling back the versions they really shouldnt have any credibility left. Even wwmi I think has done more harm than good since pak modding literally just needs one person to take the time to disassemble the game every few updates and a large enough scene to be interested and for users it doesnt matter but for modders its a night and day difference and allows for much more. soon enough d3d11 games will just stop coming out. This one only supports it because of ue4 but that also makes it easier to pak mod it. 

 

3dmigoto should be reserved for cases of unknown engine versions and the hoyo games since those are harder to circumvent asset loading stuff. strinova would also have been a good use case since pak loading is more of a problem there while 3dmigoto isnt a huge issue however there were some technical challenges and I did ask the agmg guys if they wanted to work on it and they did not so I ended up abandoning my work after making a couple nudes. I did try this game in 3dm just to check and couldnt replace buffers reliably. They actually have some material settings that are an issue and prevent reading constant buffers back to the cpu so it would take a lot

From what I know, the reason wuwa mod uses 3dmigoto is because .pak mod  has been problematic since 1.1 patch . Even subtitle mods need injection tools like the ones in this tutorial. And that makes people paranoid XD

no its literally just ignorance. none of the admins/devs in there know anything about pak modding, using fmodel to get the real assets, literally anything outside of their niche they pretend does not exist and they call any other form of modding hacking and claim it will be detected to scare users into sticking with them. pak modding requires a new address every update this is normal. 3dmigoto has also had to adapt to many changes, its just a consequence of modding a live service game. After 1.1 they patched the ability to remove pak signature check with the -fileopenlog command we have to use here. This is not a problem as we can just patch the check, and the check for the check  and so on but they dont care that much and fundamentally its a solved issue lol. You can always find a pak unlocker for current version at https://git.xeondev.com/wickedwaifus/wicked-waifus-win-patch or https://github.com/yuhkix/wuwa-sig-rs.

 

both pak modding and 3dmigoto are detectable in the logs but you can just not send them. The anticheat is no issue because you can just not run the anticheat and it doesnt matter at all and even if you do, the patch for a pak sig check is less intrusive, less detectable, just way lighter compared to the amount of shit 3dmigoto has to hook. btw as an example of how ignorant agmg is, the entirety of xxmi launcher is unnecessary because you can just name 3dmigoto as crashsight64.dll and replace that in the game folder and it does not matter at all

 

btw not only 3dmigoto leave traces in the logs they could easily detect, they have the option to forcibly turn on aftermath trace collection from GPU dumps meaning they could literally see your mods and ban you for using NSFW if they cared to

haha, thank you for all the information. i saw WuWa mods not using pak and thought they got banned for it... pak modding is so much easy than 3DMigoto

yeah the 3DMigoto ignorance is just an example of crowd mentality. People see stuff like XXMI modding multiple games and immediately think it's "superior", followed by "well everyone's already using it"

 

speaking of crowd mentality, I expect that's how this game got discussed in here of all places? half the girls in this game are lolis, I was expecting to see modding at ATF or Telegram. Doesn't take a psychology degree to know someone's going to get overzealous and end up getting the moderators' attention.

anyone downloaded from epic games? I keep getting login error when I open directly from the folder instead of launching from epic store, tried opening the launcher directly login failed and also tried opening the EM-Win64-Shipping.exe both with and without admin, and still gives login failed, do I have to redownload from outside epic?

I had installed it from Epic Games and it worked, but I couldn't use mods. I reinstalled the regular version (without Epic Games) and it works with and without mods.

I'm willing to pay for nude mod creators!
commision to create and post the mods here and maybe nexus, to get eyes on the game and start a scene

this game is gonna save my wallet in the long run so might aswell make it fun

damn I tried everything starting the launcher from the folder, starting the shipping.exe file directly, admin, no admin, it always gives login error unless I start from the epic games launcher, I'll wait for some more mods to pop up and reinstall outside of epic when that happens.

I'm willing to also potentially pay for one, but I'd like to wait until 1.1 to see how modding goes. Mods could break after a patch, or end up being bannable.

i got epic one working by getting the main shipping exe file on the steam as a non steam game with the -openfilelog command
